This was my second meet and greet ever. Deen Castronovo gave me the first one at Hooters in milwaukee in a completely unsolicted manner and I'm forever thankful for that. Last night's meeting fell into my lap through a friend as a complete surprise to me and I'm forever thankful to her as well!! Thanks, Lisa!!!

Tito didn't have a pass!!! What I found odd about the Arnel meet and greet is that it was during Heart's set. Still worth it, but missing Heart was difficult. Nancy has a cool ass U.S. Marines logo on the back of her giutar that she was showing everyone during Barracuda. I thought it was political at first until they showed it on the big screen. Pretty cool of her.

As for the original question. I was serious. But in the back of my mind, I just KNOW (have a very strong gut feeling), that people 'use' other people to get close.

And as for your actual response to my previous post. YOU aren't a member of congress, senate, work at the Pentagon, a member of the CIA, or any other agency, or non-agency so you have no idea what goes on with politics. So argue away, mate. Everything you say will either be wishful thinking, speculation, or your own personal deranged conservative mind trying hard to seem politically intelligent....

I think for the most part it is a matter of knowing the right people. All the people that had passes were given to them by the band. The band can give passes to anyone they like. And what those people do with the passes is up to them as well. I was lucky enough a few times to get a pass from some very nice people.

So it IS who you know. But I certainly don't think anyone is getting 'used'. That's a bit strong.

You could always try winning passes on the radio or something.

Let me say this...I've said some terrible things in the past about some of the members and wholeheartedly acknowledge that. I can't go back and change what I said. I can only own up to them, apologize and move on. I talked to Tito about the possibility of Journey and/or security telling me "You're not welcome here" and would have understood and walked away with no questions asked. That said, I am very thankful I wasn't and was treated very warm and welcome by everyone. I do understand that they now know for sure (maybe they did last night, maybe not) who I am and would walk away at their request in the future. Words have consequences and if they ever choose to not let me have access again (if that should happen) they will still be my favorite abnd and I will still think they're all good, decent guys. They simply are. They've made mistakes and so have I...simple as that. Rock on, Journey!!!

No matter what you've said in the past, you've atoned since then. And someone that's paid to see 8 shows this year, I think they'll forgive that. I think they understand the passion of their fans, or I hope they do. If not, then I'm fucked also.

With 20,000+ showing up to major venues they could have easily been vindictive and sent my ass packing with no practical repercussions, but didn't...at least not yet!!! Again, I would understand. I think it was one of Stu's posts that made me realize it was time to take the army helet off, take off the fatigues and turn in my grenades and quit acting like an asshole. Life is so much more enjoyable not being a malcontent!!! Tito also bitched me out on several occasions and gave me the "Stop it!!!" speech. Thanks to both.
