Interesting list. It's one of those scroll thingies, so I couldn't copy and paste the story! Hence the link, SJ

That's probably the most generic pop-culture sensationalized list of albums ever. Any pseudo-know-it-all with a minimal exposure to the outside world could've put that list together. If you're going to have a list of albums to hear before you die, you should probably make sure it's something slightly more obscure and substantial. Otherwise, you have a list of junk everyone's heard ad-nauseum so I guess we can all relegate ourselves to death's sweet grip, huh? Just my impression... :P

I'll take #5, and #6....the rest.....blech.

Do not sell Public Enemy short....just because it is rap. The only rap group I listen to, btw.

I don't know about anybody else, but I can go a whole lifetime of not hearing Bob Dylan.

Well that was a veritable cornucopia of sh!t.

The majority of that dung heap would be on my 10 albums to make sure you avoid listening to at all times!

I'd say Floyd, U2, Billy Joel, and the Beatles all had better albums than the ones they listed.

I'd agree with Pet Sounds and Highway 61 Revisted though. Those would make my desert island list in an instant.

Tough to argue with that. I'm not sure how the fuck Dylan EVER makes his way onto any "singing" list. I'm still trying to figure out how what he does even qualifies as singing!

He mumbles and groans. I'm not so sure he's even forming words with his undecipherable "sounds". Sounds like a dog with peanut butter stuck to the roof of his mouth. Here's every Bob Dylan song ever... "Mleh...ehh...beh. Bawehhhhmehh bleh."

4) Too Fast for Love- Motley Crue
5) The Doors- Waiting For the Sun

Silly ass list. (the original, Gin, not yours) Who hasn't heard at least half of those anyway. Except...

I've managed to make it to my 30s without suffering any effects due to not hearing a Public Enemy album, so I think I'll be alright to continue down that path.
