Damage control by Journey. Plain and simple. If you think otherwise, you haven't been paying attention the past several years.
I read the original interview, twice. Arnel's frustration with being away from home and doing something so much more difficult than he's ever attempted, came through loud and clear. Now they are all over him and the media, like white on rice, to spin it.

Not sure anymore....this piece gives the indication that the CBS affiliate was going to cover Journey playing in the area either way.
