Yeah, INTW is a bit slow & sappy but better than BTC imo. I say cool and laid back. One of Augeri's best.

I dunno.
INTW suffers from the same problem as All The Way.
Namely, it is lyrically dire.
I like both songs, but it is real boy band stuff.

This is tough, but I would definately include

Livin' to do
World Gone Wild.

Sitting back it's just remarkable how Journey's songs fit with the times. World Gone Wild written ahead of 9/11. I guess it's Kudos to JC.

Change for the Better should really hit the airwaves. We all need hope.

There aren't 12 songs that could fill a list of "Greatest Hits" in the Post-Perry era, in my opinion. I liked a lot of the tracks on "Arrival" and a few on "Revelation". Everything else Journey has put out without Perry is complete and utter shit! I do think that "Turn Down The World Tonight" is an exceptional song. It's actually one of the best Journey tracks I've ever heard. It's easily the best non-Perry song that Journey has recorded!

How can make an album of hits post Perry,when they had none?. Just make a list of the songs you liked since Perry left . They probably never recorded more than 30 sonce '98.

Wow, I'm surprised only one person put "Live & Breathe" as one of the songs... to me it was the most brilliant moment of the SA era... everything about that song is, to put it bluntly, perfect.

On a similar note, I recently made myself a 2 disc Augeri-only mix, consisting of Journey, Tall Stories, and Tyketto material. Ended up pretty decent, if I may say so myself.

Yes..."Turn The World Tonight" is a good one..and for me "Change for the Better" , "Place In Your Heart" and "Better Life" are pretty good too. The rest the post-Perry stuff sounds like bog-standard AOR to me and there isn't much to separate the tracks.

Strictly speaking, wether or not YOU heard it (and I know that's your self-important Boston narcissism creeping in so I'll forgive you) All The Way was #25 AC making it a hit.
I never heard it, either for the record.

That sure is an "oxymoron"..."greatest HITS" and "post-Perry".
