I'm sorry - I don't.

I think you can see archived numbers on the Daily Double site, but I don't remember exactly where.

I haven't been able to find last week's numbers anywhere....

Billboard put Journey at #40. HDD's #40 was @ 12,000 units sold.

Much less those that soothsayer'd an instant tanking. 8)

We're somewhere around 943,156 CDs sold .....

Assuming that, Journey needs to sell 28,422 for 'Revelation' to go platinum ....

No, it's excellent news.

And just for reference ..... $700,000,000,000 would buy 58,922,558,922 'Revelation' albums. It would definitely go platinum at that point. Just sayin'.

Did you get a number for last week's sales?

I've noticed this week that at least in the Bay Area, newest Journey tunes are hitting the airwaves. I'll bet Journey album sales may increase from it. The chick I know that went to the Concord show still has been out of luck looking for the new Journey album at Wally World. Safe to say she's not alone. Which to me means if no albums are in the stores to be sold, the album sales are loosing out.

I'm curious to know how Revelation sales are doing WORLDWIDE....for some reason you can never get those figures.

Got to buy 5 more to give to friends who wanted bootlegged copies. No way will I betray Journey that way. So that's 5 more closer to being platinum.

Since you're new, let's get your opinion. What do you think of the covers?

I think the cover's great. Got the Revelation shirt from the Greek concession stand. And the $50 autographed CD/DVD. See I'm contributing hugely to the chart statistics.

Thanks for the welcome. Been reading this forum for a long time before I got the nerve to join.

I thought he was asking if you like the re-recorded songs on disc two of Revelation.

He was certainly asking about the re-records. "Eleanor" is lucky I don't feel like being mean because that was one dumbass response!!!  :P

Is that what he meant? I think I have said how great AP sounded on the 4 back to back of the classics Open Arms, etc. They only did a few of the new Revelation songs -- After All These Years and Never Walk Away are the only ones I can remember.

I would like to answer that StoneCold if I may, I think the re-records are good and I'm glad they did it. I love the original best though. :) :) :)

Yeah, I meant Disc 2 of Revelation, all covers of Journey's big hits. Curious if you plan on listening to them more than to just check them out.

I have been listening to all the songs both Disc 1 & 2 that my first copies are almost worn out. The "covers" are great (my, did I get so much flak for misunderstanding what you meant by "covers"). Not to diminish the SP originals, I think AP put a fresh spin on those Journey classics. Great songs can be "covered" and interpreted many different ways but they will still be great. Thank Schon, Perry and Cain for writing them.
