Maybe I'm the not mormal one here, but if a celeb says no, don't do it and don't sneak it and if you do, don't post it on the frickin' internet. I'm someone who is really not fond of having unauthorized pictures taken (well any pictures really, but esp. unapproved), I find this rude as all fuck. If I say no, I absolutely fucking mean no, and I would expect he does too.

It is not like she got a great picture anyway. She should have just took the autographs and enjoyed the conversation, and respected his wishes. I am sure she walked away with a great memory of him, but I can also imagine his take on her. Not nice after he took the time to autograph things for her. I agree, don't post the pics, that is even worse.

Insensitive jerks. Ask to take a picture and you're told no; and you still take the picture and then you put it on the Internet for everyone to see. Hey! I'm new to this forum but have been lurking for a long time. Finally got the OK to post.

Anyhow, I am an unabashed SP loon, and found these pics earlier today at the blog of the person who's family took them. I was conflicted as to whether or not to post them, but then thought No, not this time.

My guess (and I mean, GUESS) is that SP meant he has another year paid for at the Giants games at those seats. Poor guy probably anticipates people who know he may be there in those seats coming by just to catch a glimpse and ask for pics and incessantly disturbing his pleasure at watching the game, etc. I mean, he obviously doesn't sequester himself like some celebs do (good for him!) but he doesn't enjoy having to deal with it all if he can avoid it. I mean, it's been years since he stopped recording too, hasn't it? Course I would be the first in line asking for a photo and autograph and...whatever he'd give me, sigh.....but from his perspective..... But then again, that's the price of being a frontman for a successful rock band, and that was his choice....

As long as it doesn't mean something about his health. I don't get why people get to where they feel the need to cut him down. I guess jelousy or some other silly reason. It is easy to judge him looking on the outside. Put that microscope on your life 24~7 and tell me how great it is. I would rather not be famous.

He has a goal of being in shape and ready in a year for his comeback, and he didn't want to take a picture with them before he was in peak condition....

That was rude as hell of them. If that were me, and even if he DID say pictures were ok or willingly pose, I sure as fuck wouldn't post them on the internet. I've seen plenty of how every little thing about him in recent years gets shredded and made a major deal over, including and especially pictures. Hell no way would I let an awesome event for me be subjected to that shit.
