Question regarding the re-releases

The only one that I picked up was the Trial By Fire re-release because I was borrowing a copy at the time. Anyway, since the albums were remastered once already (correct me if I'm wrong...I know you will lol), why did Perry just compile all the new liner notes commentary, pictures, etc. into a book that the fans could buy. I know it's a dumb idea, but just a thought.

Nick
PS - Still hoping one of these days we see a tell-all book from all parties involved...I guess that would be a combination between the Herbie Herbert interview and the GQ interviews, right?

Perry was doing the work for Sony/BMG. They control issues of content and things like that.

They were already re-released a long time ago, they switched to a digipak format.
