Kind of rude, to slam the guy. I always said he is personable. Let's say you prefer Perry's voice, that is fine, but why insult Arnel?

What a colossal waste of effort and bandwidth! Don't people realize these internet battles don't go anywhere but add fuel to the fire? Nobody learned anything from the SP/SA wars. What gets me are the dumbass assertations (put forth as facts ... not opinion) aimed to discredit and demean (other fans as well as individual band members). The band must be laughing at all this.

Absolutely FANTASTIC response, from Arnel! There is something to be said for taking the high road! The guy should go into public relations...or better yet, teach Journey something about public relations!

Actually I don't get being rude to anyone because of what music you prefer. Everyone has their favorite, and no one wants their favorite slammed down. I think some people thrive on being unkind and rude. I never get this thinking at all. It is one thing to playfully kid around with friends, it is another to get off on hurting someone else. If you like hurting people you need to get some help. It says little about your personality, it says volume about your worth.

I think the odds of politicians kidnapping Arnel is greater than actual kidnappers taking him. Arnel grew up and survived on the streets, I'm sure he knows what to do without somebody advising him. Besides, the kidnappers there won't touch celebrities like Arnel because they are high risk, low gain targets. High risk because it is likely to be picked up by the press and low reward because Arnel isn't that rich yet. Kidnappers prefer rich businessmen who would silently pay the ransom.
