Songs like STYH

One of my favorite Bad English tunes is Straight To Your Heart.

I'd like to see something like it done on the next Journey album. Like it being a vocally driven songswith clean guitar licks and not a lot of effects or extra keyboard layering.

Some of the Storm songs are like this and sound great.

Awesome song. Neal's intro chord just burns. I love the riffin throughout too. Place In Your Heart sorta resembles this I guess? I agree I'd love to hear Journey shoot for more

You're right about TPIYH although its not as clean sounding. He's been going a little heavier on almost everything that's not a ballad. There's a place for it but I miss the clean guitar sounds too.

STYH has interplay between vocals, guitar and drums that is great.
