My best friend is in L.A. at the Cubs-Dodgers game and he said they just played a Journey tune and showed Perry on the jumbotron wearing a Dodger's hat. First he roots for the Whte Sox and now against the Cubs. Not cool.

More proof that Perry is loaded, dude seems to be at every home game for the Dodgers and the Giants. He's got money to burn.

My husband is a Dodgers fan, he'll be happy to hear that.       P.S. Did I tell you my husband was living in CA. when we dated? He loves all teams though. He loves baseball period! LOL! He owns as many Cub hats as Dodgers hats. As a matter of fact he has a hat for every team. I threaten to put his Yankees hat in the shreader every now and again! LOL! I am a Cardinals girl myself!

If I met him, it would not matter what hat he was wearing! Thanks for sharing this news, there are girls on his fan site that are only watching the game to get a glimpse of him in the stands! LOL! And I thought I was a loon!

Well at least they are not at the game accosting him with cameras! LOL! They are just hoping to see him. We watch the games regardless, though we went out to eat tonight, I missed it all. Oh well, such is life! I had more fun at dinner anyway!

Good. He deserves it. Best singing voice of all time. I hope he lives like the king that he is.

Not even for Stevie P. would I watch a ballgame...don't care for televised sports...might like to go to a ballgame and people-watch though.

I feel the same way. Once you've seen someone hit or throw a ball, you've seen it a thousand times. I never could figure out why people get so passionate about that. I get bored after five minutes of it. To me it's like sex - I'd much rather do it than watch someone else do it.

The Giants are SP's team, Dan. He's said so many times. I guess there's just not much to root for the last few years.

Strange that he'd be wearing a Dodger's hat if he was a Giant's fan though. Sacre bleu! The fan hatred runs deep between those teams. That's on par with being a Yankee fan and attending a Red Sox/Angels game with a Sox hat on. I'd say he's more of a fan of the game itself (with a lean towards the Giants based on his past quotes).

What is the difference?? Sorry but you guys sound like teenagers who read conflicting fan magazines. "But Tiger Beat said he was a GIANTS fan! And his favorite color is Burnt Sienna!"  The guy went to a baseball game... its hardly news. What hat he was wearing is even less news.

If I were Steve Perry I'd wear a Twins hat to the next game and place hundred dollar bets with 20 friends on how long it took to show up on the internet in a 6 page thread.

He's not in an arena or touring. Doesn't seem like news to me. :P
When he starts doing that THEN I'll be excited.

hee hee, if I were him I would have some fun and to one game wear a Sombrero and wait for the rumours to start that he is moving to Mexico,
and then to another game wear a Bowler hat and wait for the rumours to start that he is moving to England.

Did your friend say at all what his reaction was when they put him on the big screen? I can't imagine he was too happy with that given his most recent non picture-picture taken in SF.

no, what i'm saying is that this has nothing to do with loondom. any giants fan wearing blue is an unnatural occurrance!

you are still required to renew your membership to maintain your seniority though.

I'll be cheering for the Dodgers to win since my Brewers got beat today. I'll be cheering for any team to beat the Phillies.
