Anyone have the re-record of PLACE IN YOUR HEART?

Not to say that I don't like having the re-record of Faith In The Heartland, but I would like to hear what this one sounds like if anyone has it. Also, if anyone has the other bonus track from Revelation (sorry, the title escapes me at the moment). Thanks

Nick

The European bonus track is Let It Take You Back. My computer isn't letting me link these days. But go to YouTube and type in Journey - Let It Take You Back. I really like the song, very vintage style Journey.

Frigas lyrics are gay, but good vocals from Arnel. This has nothing to do with "Place in Your Heart.Thar was retarded. That song sounds like "Remember Me"

Then you'll be suprised to hear Kid's Rock's "All Summer Long" from his latest album. Which seems like a part II of Let It Take You Back. Similar format as well.

I'm surprised more people aren't really into Let It Take You Back. This song hearkens back to the CLASSIC, classic SP sound more than any other song I can think of in the current era. I'm thinking Departure/Infinity/Evolution era rockers. Great crunchy guitar, nice upbeat feel, midtempo, good harmonies. It's neither 80sized nor modernized as per the usual current Journey sound. I love this song.

It's gonna be the new interrogation technique when we capture enemy combatants. "Butterfly" was deemed cruel and unusual punishment.

Thanks.

That 'Separate Lives' part sounded very odd.

I think it's great.
Neal's solo is far better than Cain's sappy lyrics deserve.
Cain even throws in a little Hammon-B3 into the mix.
Arnel, it goes without saying, sounds brilliant.

Sounds great.
Huskier vocal from Arnel than SA.
I wonder if Arnel mimics Augeri's TPIYH yelps like he did the primal intro scream on the FITH redo?

The feel of the vocals sounds depressing. It doesn't have that "determined" feel like Augeri had.

Wait till you guys hear the whole freakin thing.
If you liked the original, you are gonna love this version. Its simply amazing. Way better than the original.

Almost like two parts were brought together or they just added echo to "lives".

I like it. The vocals aren't muddied. The durm da durm sound is more prominent. I agree though that Augeri's delivery has more urgency. Glad they're different.

"Tween the two, Augeri's will still be my favorite.

Whoa... Place in Your Heart. Don't know how I missed this one, didn't even know they re-recorded it, SWEET! So are they going to include it on a disc or did something leak?

It's the bonus track for the Japan release.

not diggin' either song. the place in your heart clip dpes not sound so good to me, i will venture to say the original is the one. as for the other, let it take you back, lyrics sound juvenile to me.... very weak. musically it's okay, but nowhere near the league of departure/evolution/infinity, not even close.

The more I listen to this sample the less I like it too. Wycked said the whole thing is great so here's hopin'.

Not sure why they have Pineda singing slow & low. The music's seems to be at the same speed.

Arnel's stretchin words out to the point it reminds me of Springsteen in this clip.

Girls In Their Summer Clothes

Bruce's vocals fit this song's speed, AP's doesn't. TPIYH is (should be) a fast paced tune.
