Hey Guys!!
Im not sure if you already saw this video clip of Arnel and Regine singing duet song during their early years of singing,Arnel is 19 and Regine is only 17. I keep wondering why Regine's singing career shining through all those years and becomes an international singer but Arnel falls back behind and stucked singing in any club in Hk and Manila but didn't have a chance in the Phils. Music Industry. How sad?

I've seen this, Audrey. Arnel was so young. And you're right about Regine, I've read about her and she's huge in the Philippines and she's still so beautiful.

You're right Jana, Regine still beautiful even today and she becomes not only an international singer but also a very popular actress in the Phils. almost all her movies are blockbuster office hit, i saw her here in HK during oneof her concert and she's also a big hit here, she even have a duet song w/ one of the most popular HK singer Jackie Cheung but i just can't help why Arnel didn't get a chance, well i hate to say this but Phils Entertainment Industry sucks.

Audrey, Arnel said in a radio interview it was who you know in the music industry in the Philippines. But he was still plugging away. You have to give him credit. When he lost his voice at 26 and was told to give up singing, most would have given up, but he left Hong Kong and went back to the Phils and gave up drugs and really worked on getting it back. Very few people singing year after year like he has since the age of sixteen in clubs still have the vocal quality like he does at 41. Pretty amazing. That just shows his dedication.
