Lots of favs - but because I seem to be on a Hutch kick this week:
INXS - Don't Lose Your Head - from Face Off (great movie)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-E76lUMQkg4
Michael Hutchence - Rooms For The Memory - from Dogs In Space (I finally got to see this movie a couple of weeks ago - definitely different but I liked it!)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QwpzPET6bPY
But my all time favorites - Burton Cummings (from Melanie)

Soon as I read post #1, I was gonna post St Elmo's Fire.
I love that you posted the one from The Lost Boys - that flick has
such a great soundtrack.
(but I'm onto your agenda with those Rock Star ones...

... I need to pull that one out.. haven't watched that in years

LOL, I'm a sucker for the 80s movies, classics.
RockStar's a great movie. The first clip from it isn't JSS, I think it's Steel Dragon........just love that song for some reason.
What about this one?
Navy Seals ~ Strike Like Lightning

I've never seen Melanie. But like those songs, and Burton's voice goes without saying.

Jefferson Airplane "Comin' Back to Me" from 'Flashback' (starts at 6.45)
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=q1gYf5ZZ7NU
I already posted 'Love Song for a Vampire' by Annie Lennox from 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' in the love songs thread, so hunt for it there
It's an old movie, and a soppy song, but I melt a little every time I hear this - "What Is a Youth (Love Theme)" from Zefferelli's 'Romeo and Juliet -
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=-ogWgRAAE5I&feature=related
And then, 'Moulin Rouge' - the 'Elephant Medley' -
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=QoJPCVq1AwA&feature=related
Hmm, a highly romantic selection. Must be... something in the water

Survivor - Eye of the Tiger, Burning Heart
John Cafferty (I think?) - Heart's On Fire - Also from Rocky IV
Jrny - Remember Me
America - The Last Unicorn
Night Ranger - Secret of my Success
Journey - Ask The Lonely
John Waite - Change (I THINK this was originally for Vision Quest, but someone more versed in Waite will have to confirm...)
Jimi Jamison - I'm Always Here (ok, it's TV, and bad TV at that, but still... close enuff)
and, finally, the entire soundtrack to "She's The One," by Tom Petty - particularly the songs Walls (Circus), Angel Dream (No. 4), and California
