I got a question for some of the Filipinos on this site. What was up with the movie "Chop Chop Lady"? I never seen it, but while I was living in the Philippines during the late 80's to early 90's, my girl and I would occassionally pass by places that were showing the movie. I never once seen it and my girl wasn't really telling me much about it. I never forgotten about it and I have always wondered what that was all about. Now's my chance if someone from the Philippines on this board can elaborate alittle about it.

As we have shifted our focus back to Perry era Journey now that the tour is over, The pinoy posts have slowed considerably. Your best bet is probably to post your question at that other place.

Based on the real life events of Elsa Castillo, the movie focuses on the tragic love triangle involving the married couple and the illicit affair between Elsa and her divorced lover. The husband found them out and, in a fit of rage, butchered his wife. Hence the term, "chop-chop."

Who is to blame? Is it the wife who feels that the love she is receiving from her husband is not enough, the husband who is trying to give his best for her, or the lover who treats her very special. This is a true to life story of Elsa Castillo...Fred Castillo...and Ted Boorman...A love triangle between husband, wife and accused lover and boss.

No shit Sherlock, it was never said that he wasn't. A lot of the threads the last few days that were actually about music have pertained to Perry. I have no idea what your calling bullshit over. Don't you notice the lack of "Charice" threads or other filipino posts the last few days, that's what I was referring to.

It delved on a real-life crime of passion. Someone came up with this:

The Chop Chop Lady
