I'm looking for a good recipe for cooking Shark Steak. I don't want the dill and lemon thing. Any suggestions?

Generally speaking, however you like to cook fish.

A couple of my favourites:

mix a little plain flour with fresh ground pepper, salt and some ground cumin. Put it into a plastic bag, throw in the shark, then close the bag tightly, trapping as much air inside as you can. Shake the whole thing up so the shark gets well coated.
Then melt about a tablespoon of butter with a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan (the oil stops the butter burning), and when just bubbling lightly, cook the shark, 3-minutes each side, turning 4 timesv (i.e. each side gets 3-4min twice) - depending on how hot your pan and how thick the steak, you may need to adjust that. But the end result should be lightly brown and crispy on the outside and tender and moist but cooked on the inside.

The other favourite of mine is to poach it in a mix of coconut milk/cream, lime juice, a little chili to taste, and some kaffir lime leaves finely chopped and thrown in if you can find them. Baby corn, water chestnusts, straw mushrooms and bamboo shoots all work well thrown in to the sauce at the last minute and heated through for about 2 minutes (take the shark out and let it stand at that point.) Serve with rice - YUM!!!!

Damn, the local fishmonger is shut by now...

Google my friend...Google. I use it all the time for recipes, and I've found awesome ones out there for free. You just have to spend a minute on there.

Wow, there's something I haven't had access to since moving. There is a vast lack of LJS, Bojangles, and Chick-fil-a (John from Boston's fave) in my life these days. ...Not that it's a bad thing. And yes, Long Dong Slippers is totally shark. And the chicken planks are ostrich. :P
