That's a great track. Excellent vocals. I'm gonna check out this band.

Cool seeing the clips of the beauties too. Song reminds me of Dokken's "Alone Again"

Here's their cd, samples sound pretty good. Track 3 really reminds me of Dokken

Bonrud was the first "obscure" Melodic Rock CD I ever bought....

.... and I'm STILL in love with it. Wonderful little album..

Me too! Play it often - Date With Destiny - now there's a great driving song that belongs in that other thread!

Wow! Thanks for the compliments guys! :) Reading this thread was quite a nice little surprise when I popped in here this evening. It's great to hear you all are enjoying my CD and I hope to have another one eventually. It's been in the works but real life keeps interfering...kind of like the Matchbox 20 song with the line "I wish the real world would stop hassling me". :)

I never listene to Paul Sabu or Mitch Malloy. I have a few Dokken CD's but they weren't a huge influence...however, I'll let you guys in on a little secret. My song "Once In A Lifetime" was originally called (before I had a real title!) "the Queenrsyche/Dokken song". :) There was a Queensryche/Dokken song #2 which still has never been recorded which has some similarly cool riffs.

My big musical influence is Journey (Neal Schon especially!) but there have been many others over the years...Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Rick Springfield, Van Halen, Ozzy, Bryan Adams, Heart, Foreigner, Night Ranger, etc... I like lots of newer stuff too like Paramore, Nickelback, Alter Bridge, Damone, Waltham, Shinedown, and others too...

Anyway, thanks again for the kind words and I'm glad you're enjoying my music. I really create the music because I enjoy doing it but it's nice to know that other people enjoy the fruits of my labor. The irony is that as an artist, you don't really get to enjoy listening to the finished product because by then, you're burned out! LOL!!! For those of you who haven't heard my music, you can hear it on my web pages. My tunes are available as mp3's on most of the online music stores like itunes and I still have a few CD's that I sell through my web page on bonrud.com and cdbaby.
