I will say no more!
Ok, well yes I will, but right now I have to dash out for dinner with a certain band
Steve had a lot to prove tonight in the UK and he started off nervously. But he delivered BIG TIME and more than I anticipated.
Very very proud of the man tonight. Terrific vocals.
More soon!

That is great news, Andrew. Thanks for reporting back so soon. Go Steve A. I guess he didn't sing any Journey songs? Sorry, can't help but wish, because I would love to see a video of him singing Kiss Me Softly live. One of my favorite songs.

Rascal Flatts I know but it fits...
You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
Alone and helpless
Like you've lost your fight
But you’ll be alright
You’ll be alright
Chorus:
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you’ve had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand,
Then you stand

actually he did a bit of Stone in Love and it was magnificent.
He was in top form-ripped on top of it in a tight tee. Wigglers unite. Naysayers don't bother coming in here.
The 3 news ones were scorching rockers!!!!! And played a black strat. Sister of mercy, Stat Wirh Me, Wild on the Run, Chain of Love, Close Your Eyes and Somewhere She Waits, not necessarily in that order.
I didn't cry THAT much...

Sweet! Just what the JTTC crew were saying... Time for doubters is OVER, Augeri is back and better than ever. JTTC '09 can't get here fast enough for me. Looking forward to seeing videos when available, if any were allowed.

I agree with the Wombat and Deb; Tall Stories sounded terrific. I thought I would never ever hear those songs live, and this day was such a gift. Stay with Me is my favorite song off that album, and it was great. Sister of Mercy rocked the rafters. And the 90 seconds they did of Stone in Love as the first part of the encore was terrific.
Kinda got a Journey cover thing goin on here ... Loud and Clear did a hard rock version of DSB yesterday. Today HEAT did Separate Ways & Mich Malloy also did Stone in Love. Lots of Journey shirts in the crowd too. These Brit and international fans know how to rock; these folks know all the words to all the songs and sing them at the top of their lungs. The bands keep commenting on how blown away they are by the responsiveness of the crowd. Such fun. More later ... off to party with more rock stars.

Happy to hear he's doing well. If you see him again please tell him to drop in on MR. We'd be very happy to hear from him.

It looks like Mr.Augeri has finally heeded my advice, and has stopped wearing women's clothing! Good for Steve...he has his voice back, and apparently his sanity. See what getting away from Journey can do for a guy

Enigma869 wrote:Yeah...that was another brilliant tactic tried by CJ and all her cronies at Jackass Talk. That worked out well. It was amazing how fast that place turned on Augeri when he got caught lipping. It's unfortunate, considering that most there acted like they were the guy's best friend, and went out for coffee with him daily
Can we keep this on topic, complain to me in a PM if you feel it really neccesary.

You are aware the song was inspired by the aftermath of two 747s diving into skyscrapers, right?

Great to hear he's back and in form... I always enjoyed him in Journey and tapegate did nothing to diminish the respect I have for the man. I'd love to see him perform again in person.

LOL...funny.
Seriously, I think if I recall, it was Steve's observations at how serene life was above the clouds in a plane, even in the madness of a post-911 world. So it's only an indirect reference to 911....
