OT AC/DC number one in UK and US

Pretty impressive - i recall some comments on here that they would not match Revelation sales. Well, hate to say it but i think platinum or double will be achieved by this new album. Back in Black has now sold 42 million copies - that is scary!

Wow, that's TOTALLY short-sighted, but considering the forum shouldn't be unexpected.

I love Journey. And I really like AC/DC - Nothing like doing soundcheck with "Whole Lotta Rosie" - But Journey will never be the force to reckon with in the music business that AC/DC is.

Deservedly so, this album is flat out incredible.

I was worried there - High School Musical 3's soundtrack could have been a threat.

Hannah Montana's soundtrack got in the way of Barry Manilow having two consecutive #1s.

I said it

I said that AC/DC wouldn't out-sell Revelation. That was based on my opinion that Brian Johnson had long since blown out his voice. I love AC/DC and all the old Bon/Brian music, just didn't think they'd be able to carry more than their hard core base... mea culpa.
