BCS rankings

Postby S2M » Mon Nov 03, 2008 7:24 am

How can one team jump over another team, if the second team is idle? There's no way TT jumps over PSU. PSU is idle this week.

What a crock of shite.....

Don't worry. TT plays Oklahoma St. this week and Oklahoma (in Oklahoma) next week. They won't survive both of those tests.

It's precisely why college football sucks monkey dung! I grew up a rabid college football fan and now don't give a shit. The BCS is a fucking embarrassment and should be abolished! There is simply ZERO reason not to have a playoff in college football. Instead, these fucking tards rely on a computer to tell them who the "best" two teams are! Completely fucking moronic!

It cetainly has flaws. Such as Florida, a team that lost at home to a shitty team like Mississippi being ranked higher than Texas, who lost to undefeated Texas Tech at Texas Tech!!! :? Let's do the math here...2 great teams each with one loss...one (Texas) loses to a great team on the road and the other (Florida) to an unranked team at home. Yup...let's put Florida higher. And for some stupid reason, when you lose is important. Makes no sense to me. I would exploit the system and never schedule tough games late in the year.

Hey, I was rooting for TT last night!!! I just don't think they'll survive that nasty 3 game stretch. If they do they should be #1 in the polls.

:? REAL nice example!!! Based on Florida's record, strength of schedule, the fact that each win has been a blowout for them this year, and that they play in the SEC they deserve to be where they are now(#5). Like it or not-put your boys against them anyday and they'll hammer it down their throats....

You didn't need to blow out Mississippi...you just needed to beat them period!!! And for the record, the SEC isn't shit this year. It has 2 good teams...Alabama and Florida. LSU and Georgia are waaaaay overrated. You'll hear no arguments from me about how good Florida is, but to lose at home to an unranked team without any key injries is inexcusable. You simply shouldn't be in front of Texas if you use any common sense. The example I outlined before is indisputable. That said, I think it will be PSU versus Florida...in Florida for the NC. I'm coming down, partying and coming home with alligator boots.
