Journey have become the band with the "biggest-ever catalog song on digital platforms."

It means that the band's track "Don't Stop Believin'" is the first song that was available in the pre-digital era to sell more than 2 million downloads through iTunes.

According to the theguardian.co.uk, part of the track's popularity is to do with it soundtracking the finale of TV hit drama The Sopranos last year.

The song was originally released in 1981, then made available through iTunes in April 2003.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. The most downloads have been of Steve Perry singing the song so he should be the one represented and get the credit for it.

This biography isn't totally accurate either...I don't think Dunbar left because" he was unhappy with the new direction".....and it's not up to date either....

but, anyway...kudos to the band for having the most downloads...thats quite an achievement! :)

I know that for quite a while "Eye Of The Tiger" was the #1 most downloaded song from itunes. My favorite bands are doing quite well. :)
