RockinDeano emailed me and told me to post this.

Dean says take the Ravens to cover if not win outright vs the Giants. That's right, Baltimore over NYG. This is a ripe game for an upset, and I love the defensive matchups the Ravens pose here.

i wrestled hardest with that game trying to figure it out.the only reason i picked the giants is because they are at home but other than that i'm wondering if eli manning will struggle against that great ravens defense.ray lewis is playing really well.i do think its possible the ravens will beat giants.....

I predict that Matt Cassel throws for 400 yards and 3 TD's but the Patriots still lose to the Jets in OT

BAL @ NYG-- I think Baltimore pulls off the upset

MIN @ TB--Tampa Bay pulls this one off

OAK @ MIA--Miami - As always, everyone beats this awful team!

DET @ CAR-- The Lions might be worse than the Raiders. Carolina wins it easy.

PHI @ CIN-- The Bungles flat out suck and Philly isn't losing to them! (Count this one)

CHI @ GB-- Green Bay needs this one more and I think they pull it out (Count this one)

NO @ KC--The Saints can't possibly lose to KC, can they? I think this game is probably closer than it should be but the Saints win.

HOU @ IND-- Close game but the Colts win it! (Count this one)

STL @ SF-- 49'ers pull this one off. (Count this one)

ARI @ SEA--I love Kurt Warner and the Cardinals. Warner continues his MVP run and the Cards pull this one off (Count this one)

TEN @ JAC--Usually an undefeated team loses to a team they should beat easily. In my upset special of the week...Jags pull it off

SD @ PIT--I think Pittsburgh is a FAR better team and wins this game against a VERY overrated Chargers team.

DAL @ WAS--The Cowboys MUST and will win this game, in spite of their awful coach (Count this one)

CLE @ BUF-- Two not so good teams, but I think Buffalo stops their slide and beats the girl scouts!

Tiebreaker:
1.
2.
3.

..and here we go

Giants over Baltimore: Flacco is going to be under immense pressure. Lets just say you can't play Houston and Cleveland every week, and they are going up against the most consistent team that's not called the Titans. Giants by 18.

Panthers over Lions: I'm with you John, I want to see this sorry ass team get what they deserve! 0-16. Going up against a sleeper that could possibly be a beast. Panthers by 31.

Redskins over Cowboys: RomoHomo's first time back won't be much as it will be too late to knock the rust off in a HUGE game in the division. This is a must win against the Skins, and I think it's little too early and at the same time a little too late for Romo to win a must win divisional game. Redskins by 11.

9'ers over Rams: An iffy pick, but I'm liking what Singletary is doing with this team and the Rams are a about 4 players away from being the Lions. 9'ers get a win at home, and deservingly so. SanFran by 7.

Colts over Texans: Could be a close one..but the Colts are at home, and they are feeling pretty good about where they sit with two wins against quality opponents. This is the time for Dungy and Manning to make a push and what better 2 guys to do it. Plus, the Colts know a little bit more about winning when their backs are up against a wall. Colts by 20.

UPSET:
Chiefs over Saints: Going out on a big limb, since NO lost a big one last week to Atl and will be poised to get the W. Still, you don't think Edwards wants that big win esp after he was 2 points from doing so last week? Chiefs by 4.

John your over by one! your going to have to hack a game off the count list. 6 total including the upset. Don't you be pulling a Belichick on me

..In the house, AGAIN! in Heinz Field. Very rare to snag two tickets, two weeks in a row, but my dads work pulled it off. Colder than last week, with snow flying. Bring in a West team, it's time to play ball with no gift wraps! Steelers by 17.

Good luck, yinz'. 8)

The Giants had a whole lot of luck on their side last year. They are a FAR better team this season. In my opinion, they are the best team in the NFL. Tennessee has a great defense but their offense (outside of Chris Johnson) sucks. I don't believe Tennessee can score enough to beat the Giants. I also think Brandon Jacobs neutralizes even good defenses. The dude is a freakin' load and is bigger than most of the guys who are trying to tackle him.

I have been pretty impressed with Aaron Rodgers this year. Yeah, he's stumbled a round a bit and made boneheaded plays but for the most part, he's gotten a little better every week despite playing hurt and hasn't moaned about a lot of things. I have to agree with what one of the announcers said today and say, overall, he's the most decent QB in the NFC North.

Congrats to the Titans for keeping the undefeated streak going. It was also impressive to see Kerry Collins actually remember that he was a QB. I still think the Titans are going to lose at least 2 of their remaining games. I don't think they will beat the Colts, and I don't think they will beat Pittsburgh. They'll beat the pathetic Lions quite easily on Thanksgiving (Fuck the NFL for constantly making me watch the suck ass Lions and the full of themselves sucky Cowboys every Thanksgiving)! I think the Jets could give them a fight next weekend, but for now, they remain unblemished. My early Super Bowl pick is Pittsburgh against the Giants with the Giants winning back to back championships.

Provided Pittsburgh doesn't beat itself. They tried to giftwrap the game for the Chargers today and the Bolts still couldn't win.

I also never saw the forward lateral at the end of the game that nullified Polamalu's touchdown. Maybe I'm not interpreting the rules right but I thought he recovered a backwards pass.

I don't disagree with you. I don't think the Steelers are a great team, and I wouldn't be shocked if someone beat them. The AFC is wide open, and I simply believe they are the strongest all around team in the AFC. I will definitely re-think that if Collins puts a couple of more weeks together like he did this week. I love the Titans defense, but their offense has been pretty average, for most of the season.

I tell you how I think this'll go:
Somehow next week, the Titans will squeak by the Jets (Favre will probably throw 15 picks or something like that!) and SOMEHOW on Thanksgiving Day, they'll lose to the freaking Lions!

You heard it here first...
I think you're right, though. I think they lose to Pitt, but I think they beat em in the playoffs and go to the Superbowl against the G-men (that would be a great story- Collins plays his old team for the championship!)
OR- Collins will get hurt in the last game of the season, and Vince Young rides in to...LOSE their opening playoff game in spectacular fashion!

Just got back from Heinz. The Stillers once again tried to double gift wrap this win, but this defense is TOO GOOD to let that happen 2 weeks in a row. Willie Parker gives you that element at running back that can open an offense. With all these injuries the Steelers deal with, including the pathetic penalties they take in crucial situations, they still manage a way to stay in the game and pull out victories. The offense must come around NOW, because the defense let down is coming. Hopefully it wont be in the playoffs. I'll take the sloppy W.

Bengals tie huh? howbegoddamn

EDIT*- the penalty ratio between each team is as follows..

Pittsburgh- 13
Chargers- 1 !

What the shit is that all about? 13-1? what a screw job. The refs really put the shovel far up the anal on this officiating and this needs to be addressed.. because the Chargers didn't play 60 min with just one mistake, to our 13! bullshit if you ask me. Fuckers still lost. Good for 'em.

Unbelievable squad...and congrats to that.. that defense was playing well for years, they just needed an offense to compliment. Kerry Collins is proving me wrong, he really has a hold and tight grasp on that offense and he is proven to be the leader of it and it's showing. He's made some heck of a nice throws, and he manages well.

BUT, they might be peaking A BIT TOO EARLY  Sometimes going undefeated this late in the season or AT ALL seems to come back and bight a team in the ass. Come to think of it, when was the last time a first seeded team won the Superbowl?

Dude.. they aren't losing to the Lions... bank on it. If they do lose then they might just play 6 on defense or 4 on offense. Not happening. I see them yank starters in the late season and the backups will lose one of the later games. (Pit, Indy) Kind of like the Colts did in '05. Started 13-0 then lost the last 3.

Unless Home Field is on the line of course.

You're out of your freakin' mind if you seriously believe that the Titans are going to start pulling starters if they are still undefeated. I don't care if they have home field wrapped up right through the AFC Championship game. They aren't benching ANYONE, if they're undefeated! WILL NOT HAPPEN!

I don't believe that number one seeds winning the Super Bowl is that rare of an occurrence. I believe two of the three Patriots teams who won were number one seeds and it happened all the time in the 90's. What is unusual is both number one seeds actually getting to the Super Bowl. It hasn't happened since 1994 when Dallas trounced the Bills.

Eh, we'll see. Depends on the situation at that given time. When things are wrapped up, head coaches have been leaning towards resting their best players for the playoffs in fear of injury.. and with an old school Coach like Jeff Fischer, I can def. see him sitting some starters. Not all, but some.
