Not inclined to think he would do a tour either, though I don't know him from a hole in the wall either.

A 1-off concert is possible, ala "A&E live by request" or BeeGees "one night only" type thing.

Actually the Bee Gees started out with the intention of "one night only" but they ended up doing a huge tour of "one night only" shows.

They did a lengthy tour in the early 1990s. In 1997/1998, they did one "one-night only" show per continent ... there were only a few. - Nov 1998: Pretoria South Africa @ Loftus Versveld Stadium
- March 1999: Auckland New Zealand @ Western Springs Stadium in front of 61,000
- March 1999: Australia @ the Olympic Stadium in front of 70,000

All were broadcast, IIRC

Interesting...I thought I remember reading that they did a more extensive tour. It's funny they didn't - would have been huge for them. They are one band that I regret never being able to see. I guess I would have been 7 when they were in Vegas....
