If Perry Releases New Music And Tours What Would Setlist Be?

he might throw in a couple new songs but what would a 2009 solo setlist look like?

Girl Can't Help It
Lights
Foolish Heart
You Better Wait
Listen to Your Heart
Oh Sherrie
Send Her My Love
Missing You
I'll Be Alright Without You
Dixie Highway
Wheel in the Sky
Lovin';Touchin';Squeezin'
Any Way You Want It
Separate Ways
Be Good To Yourself
Don't Stop Believin'
Faithfully

I agree with Andrew. Why would he put his voice through that grind again. He doesn't have to. CDs will sell especially if he doesn't tour.

Not inclined to think he would do a tour either, though I don't know him from a hole in the wall either.

A 1-off concert is possible, ala "A&E live by request" or BeeGees "one night only" type thing.

Actually the Bee Gees started out with the intention of "one night only" but they ended up doing a huge tour of "one night only" shows.

I agree with Andrew... and I've said this before... at the most, a couple one-offs in some of the bigger cities. Less than 10, maybe. Anything more, I'd be surprised, but still happy to eat my words.

They did a lengthy tour in the early 1990s. In 1997/1998, they did one "one-night only" show per continent ... there were only a few. I remember they had plans to do a broader tour but cancelled, due to Barry Gibb's arthritis. They did talk about doing a full tour in 2001, but that went away when Maurice Gibb passed away. The only show from that effort is A&E Live by Request.

As far as "One Night Only" shows, there were seven:
- Nov 1997: Las Vegas @ the MGM grand in front of 15,000 (on DVD)
- Aug 1998: Ireland @ the RDS Stadium in front of 39,000
- Sept 1998: UK @ Wembley Statium in front of 55,000
- Oct 1998: Buenos Aires @ Boca Junior Stadium in front of 42,000
- Nov 1998: Pretoria South Africa @ Loftus Versveld Stadium
- March 1999: Auckland New Zealand @ Western Springs Stadium in front of 61,000
- March 1999: Australia @ the Olympic Stadium in front of 70,000

All were broadcast, IIRC

Interesting...I thought I remember reading that they did a more extensive tour. It's funny they didn't - would have been huge for them. They are one band that I regret never being able to see. I guess I would have been 7 when they were in Vegas....
