What exactly are you having problems with, which bit?
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

So... you're trying to link your avatar from another site? Try uploading the avatar to photobucket

Ok, I've found that for avatars (although not for pictures in messages) it doesn't like lots of urls, including flickr, but images loaded to photobucket work fine.

http://photobucket.com/

If you've still got problems with images loaded there, then I'm afraid it's beyond me!

Linking from sites such as Geocities, Angelfire and Tripod don't work well

Since we're on it... are there certain file types that don't apply well, even if the host is photobucket? I have a certain animated one I've tried to use (and I know animated ones have worked on here) that just will not work.

I know .gif images work, but that's about it for animated

I was trying to use an animated .gif and the friggin' thing wouldn't work.
Maybe the file size was screwing it up, that's all I can figure.

I have written many things doing same ... ever worry you are going to subliminally pick up a phrase from here and have it show up in your paper ... like "fur taco"?
