I feel bad for Michigan

Postby Tito » Tue Nov 18, 2008 8:30 am

Man, it must really suck right now to be a resident of Michigan:

1. Big 3 on the verge of going away.
2. Michigan 2-9
3. Lions 0-10
4. City of Detroit (I laugh at the Detroit will die if GM & Ford go bankrupt. Haven't they visited Detroit in the last 25-30 years, it already has died).

Is there anything positive up there?

I hear ads on the radio for the skiing they have up there. Maybe that's one bright spot? Plus you have to go through Michigan to get to Moon Beam, so there's another.

but she is from there.. and that is all that counts... I think there are bout 4-6 females from MICH that are on MR either from there or moved away...
lets just say the ones I know ARE HOT.

Yep Lions are going for 0-16...
and Uof M just has no talent this year amazing... now if the Beat Ohio State this week, all will be forgotten...
Detroit well lets just say that city dies out, WOW we are in a whole lot of trouble.

There is a cool song that mentions the south side of Detroit, which apparently doesn't exist.

I think the Rich Rod experiment will end in collasal failure after another losing 2009.

The argument can't be made that he won't have had 4 full years b/c that's cancelled out due to the # of good players who left because he came there.

I don't like seeing the University Of Michigan football in the latrine, either.

Hell, it's hurting Penn State's strength of schedule :)

Bah.
It's just a feeling, it'll pass.

Ohio State by 25.

WISCONSIN and MINNESOTA are the ones that should be ashamed losing to that ragtag bunch.

A north, south, east and west exists in your kitchen, I'm sure they exist in Detroit.....silly argument!!!

Nugent's from Michigan. Where theres men like Nugent, there still hope dammit :!:

P.S I wouldn't want to wish any ill on the state of Michigan ( I have family that lives there) , but as far as the Wolverines go, I 'd be perfectly happy to see them NEVER have a winning season during the 21st century. The only good thing about the Wolverines in my book is that theyre not the Badgers ! :D

As long as MG can call it home or a past home then Michigan is just fine with me. I think the people know what to expect friom the Lions, this is regular for them although 0-10...whew. The Wolverines may be down right now but watch and see. This team will be back sooner than later and will be a powerhouse that will make most peole think this season was just a bad dream. Ive said that all season and you can still mark my words. Dont let them get to you MG......
Oh, and Im laying a couple of bets down for Michigan over Ohio State. I believe.

I wasn't being mean, I seriously feel bad for the state. Good people. The Big 3 is sad and I like Michigan football. The Lions I don't have an issue with as long as they're not playing the Bears. Detroit...ummm...

The auto workers union raped the Big 3 for years, and this is what happens. They made their bed, now they can lie in it.
