Naw, I am neither crazed fan nor genius to be sure, but I had to get online and state my thoughts. Whenever I assess my life I sometimes wonder if I am going just a bit mad. (PS – post this wherever needed in case I posted it in the wrong place.)

What in heaven and hell is up with all the crazed fans these days? I keep reading about celebs having to put out restraining orders with fans sending packages, notes and messages. I hate to sound paranoid, but I sent my books and gifts to a Journey fan club with a lengthy prattling cover letter; I made up a crazed character and made videos about Journey and Perry and I write to you people in this forum…does that make me crazy, hmm?

Perhaps I went over board with my character’s obsession, or is she a character? Am I MBPL or am I Mocha Bus Pass CRAZED FAN Lady?!!! I don’t know if you noticed, but I AM mocha-complexioned, I have a current bus pass and I am a lady, well…on a good day. And I can be slightly crazed, but in a silly way. Sure I have two cats, have no kids, socialize every so often, and I date once every other Millennium, but I am not a crazed fan, I swear, I have a very active, happy life. I just wanted to get that out in case some of you wondered. Actually, speaking of dating, last week I went on a lunch date with an old classmate which ended just fine, so yea I am doing okay, really.

All right, no, I lied, the date was a disaster! I didn’t remember the guy plus he creeped me out when he pulled out the old year book and pointed to my photo saying., “You always did have a whole lot of forehead, that’s what I remember most about you!!” The date eventually ended with me saying, “You say you’ve been separated 6 years from your wife and you won’t get a divorce ‘cause she gets to ride on your medical benefits? Well, that’s generous of you and I’m, sorry, what is that…oh, you want to spend Thanksgiving with ME? Uh, huh, ‘cause your mother, father and son are too busy to be bothered? Wow. Well, you know I...oh, say is that a one hundred dollar bill on the ground, there?” As I bolted up the street and around the corner far enough away from the guy staring at the ground who claimed he had a crush on me since Jr. High (middle school for your youngsters) I thought to myself… “thank goodness for fan forums and YT to allow me to buffer life’s often strange absurdities!!” Enjoy your mid week.

Well, I am considering yet another Journey/Perry video with a Segue to Michell Jackson, a man who needs plenty of healing these days! It will be done at Disneyland for New Year's Eve. I posted on YT and My Space, but I am still considering it, so that was a bit premature.

Funny enough, I am getting requests to continue with the Journey/Perry thing from outside people, not my friends in other words, and that is encouraging. At this time I am petitioning one of the folks as a sponsor since making the videos and costumes cost alot of money. Wish me luck on that. Thank you, Lorrie

I adore Perry's voice from what I have heard these past few years. I think I am angry that he did not continue to sing in his mature voice, I mean he IS an artist and artists never die, they simply re-invent. But, don't take me too personally, I don't care that he is gone, he has his reasons and that is that. But, there is a method to my madness with Perry. See, I will either make him very angry and he will have me beaten and bloodied somewhere..ouch, would not like that...OR, he will laugh so hard he will come out of hiding just to show people his nose is not that long, he does not dance like a drunken puppy summoning the rain gods and he is not trapped in a cave biting off his own foot for food, but he is working on new stuff and will tell us all about it real soon...yay, would love that! How about a fan with a touch of genius and a lot of crazy in her (but in a good way ). The best comics have an insanity to their personality. That's what allows them to take risks and not be safe. Keep the videos coming.

Videos: My next video will be another Journey/Perry skit, can’t seem to shake those guys. MBPL will throw an elaborate party in their honor…at Disneyland on New Year’s Eve! Well, the joke is she will be at a bus stop outside Disneyland with a piece of fabric covering the bench and a sign stating something like "Happy New Year’s Eve Journey and Steve Perry," or something like that. I will actually be celebrating at Disneyland with friends for New Year’s Eve in costume, but I thought the bus stop thing would be a blast.

Website: It was suggested that I elaborate on the back story for the Mocha Bus Pass Lady website, so I am working on that as well. Good lord, this MBPL thing is growing a bit bigger than I had expected! I will, however, run with it as far as I can stand before I stop, drop and roll into a corner somewhere. In the meantime, the site URL has been changed. It is now www.mochabuspasslady.com. BTW - still working on the email link.
