Do you really think Steve Perry will release new material?

We've heard several rumors that Steve Perry has been recording new material. Nothing has been confirmed so far. However, VH1's Mark Goodman did report this: "Earlier this year word surfaced that Steve was finally working on a new solo album. He said he'd like to release something by the end of this year or by the first half of 09."
What do you think? Do you really think Steve Perry will release new material in the near future?

before 2009 is over i think he will.as far as touring behind it i'm not so sure....

He should do a childrens album ala Pooh Corner. No tour, no high expectations, just throw that out there and see how it goes.

I wish he would there is no need to tour....we just would love new music from him.
Only he knows if he will or will not do it.

I've long been told that StevePerry.com would be the signal that new music is a "go." When I see that I'll start to believe. Though I really hope he doesn't release anything.

What do you think about all the websites devoted to you in cyberspace? Do you have any plans to launch your own website?
Steve: I own steveperry.com but I've yet to fly it. For now Fan Asylum has been so gracious in letting me use their site for my official statements. If you ever talk to me in a chat room or hear anything on any other sites just know this, I DO NOT go in chat rooms so it's not me, and for now, Fan Asylum has the only REAL Steve Perry statements to believe in!!!!!!!!
Fan Asylum should shut down and force Steve to open StevePerry.com.

Does he have ideas? Yes.
Has he recorded them? Yes
Will he release them? I honestly dont think so..
