I'm tired. Running on 4 hours of sleep in 2 days. Week 12 of the NFL schedule.
PHI @ BAL
NYJ @ TEN
TB @ DET
MIN @ JAC
BUF @ KC
CHI @ STL
NE @ MIA
SF @ DAL
HOU @ CLE
OAK @ DEN
CAR @ ATL
NYG @ ARI
WAS @ SEA
Sun Night
IND @ SD
Mon, Nov 24
GB @ NO
Philly Over Baltimore. I don't think Baltimore's that good offensively (but neither is dumb ass McNabb and his O) and showed they can't beat good NFL teams. Plus, personally, Steelers need Philly. Philly by 5.
Houston Over Cleveland. "The finger" Brady Girlieman Quinn got a boo-boo on his throwing hand, and making a 3rd start. Cleveland got ways to go and I think the Texans have their way with them. Plus, personally, the Browns suck. Houston by 12.
San Diego over Indy. San Diego is due, plus I don't think they can be THAT bad of a football team. Just under-acheivers this year but can still turn it on with the play makers they have. Peyton can't get damned lucky every week and eek win after win out. San Diego by 9.
Redskins over Seattle. Coming off a tough loss to Dallas, the Skins have to bounce back in a strong way, or their in trouble. What better way to get it back on track against the Walrus and his pathetic Seahawks. Redskins by 21.
Falcons over Panthers. I actually flip flopped on this game many times.. but Delhome is coming out the gates slow and the Falcons D is coming into their own kind of stinginess. Panthers are due to blow one, esp. a road game. Falcons by 13
UPSET:
Jets Over Titans. The picking for the Titans to lose is on. When will it be? I'd hope the Stillers get a crack at another undefeated, but I'd rather stick 'em in the playoffs. Favre by 6.

PHI @ BAL - I think both of these teams suck, but Philly will probably squeak by. As usual, Baltimore simply has no offense. (Count)
NYJ @ TEN - I like Tennessee to win a close game. They're still not going undefeated, but I don't believe that this is the week they lose!
TB @ DET - Tampa Bay keeps my dream of seeing the pathetic Lions go 0-16 alive by beating this pathetic team.
MIN @ JAC - Jacksonville pulls off a close win.
BUF @ KC - I think Buffalo has proven that they blew their load the first 6 weeks of the season. That said, I don't even see KC beating the Bills.
CHI @ STL - I believe Chicago wins this one easily. (Count)
NE @ MIA - The Patriots aren't losing to the Dolphins a second time in the same season, period, end of story! (Count)
SF @ DAL - Dallas wins this one without much difficulty. (Count)
HOU @ CLE - I think Quinn plays well and Cleveland wins a close one. (Count)
OAK @ DEN - Denver wins. They're playing the Raiders. Enough said!
CAR @ ATL - Atlanta is not a playoff team this season, but this is a chance for them to prove that they are well on their way to respectability. I'm picking Atlanta to win in an upset.
NYG @ ARI - I think the Giants are the best team in the NFL, but I love the way Kurt Warner is playing. Cardinals win in an upset.
WAS @ SEA - Redskins win to keep pace in the NFC East.
IND @ SD - I think the Colts are the better team, but think San Diego pulls this one off (Count).
GB @ NO - Two mediocre teams, but I think the Saints win a close game.

One prediction for this game: Balti wins handily and as he is wont to do (Dallas/Roy Williams pick a few years back) Donovan McLorenzen will throw the mindless, suicidal, season (for all intents and purposes) torpedoing pick six and in the ensuing tackle attempts conveniently come down with "a season-ending injury."
Mercifully, his choke-riddled era as an Eagle will then be closed.

Christ if I have to see him sauntering around with his chinstrap unbuckled between plays again...
Thank hell he doesn't have a chinstrap for all FOUR chins, they'd NEVER get a fuckin play off.

Yeah...Favre started that whole unbuckling the chin strap after each play. You'll notice that Aaron Rodgers does the same exact thing Favre did with the chin strap. I would be the first to walk up to Rodgers and say "You're trying to get out of Favre's shadow...Stop trying to copy him". Funny how Rodgers wasn't unbuckling his chin strap in college

Hey, John...
everyone is betting New England. The line just the other day was New England getting 2 points and now, at some casinos, they're 2 point favorites. You
never see a 4 point swing on such a low line. If Miama covers the casinos are gonna be rolling in $$$. But they better not!!!

I told you at the beginning of the week that this was my lock of the week, dude! While I don't think the Patriots are close to a great team, I still think they're a better team than Miami is. Belichick is far too good of a coach to lose to Miami twice in one season. If Miami beats the Patriots today, then they are a far better team than I think they are (assuming New England doesn't beat themselves).

If I were the Pats coaching staff, I'd tell my safeties/cbs not to pinch up....forget the run, and cover all the WR/TE.....

Good call YoungJRNY. The Titans are no longer undefeated kid. The Jets just went up 27-6. The Titans don't have the offense to come back from 10 points, let alone three touchdowns.

Good games today. Passed out around 1 but got my ass up to watch the games around 2. Amazing how one single guy, coming from a winning organization, let alone being a Hall of Famer, can take a team to new heights. Favre tore that Tennessee defense apart, and was VERY decisive with his throws. When Favre is on, he's the best there is.
Now, we all can watch football the way football is meant to be viewed rather than worry if a team is going to go undefeated. Anyone's game.
I must say, John.. giving credit when credits due. Your New England Patriots are proving their worth of what kind of team they have. I'd admit I thought they'd fall from the ranks once Brady went down. But Cassel, who never even played in college, did what Brady.. a future HOF himself.. never did. Throw for over 400 yards in back to back weeks. It might be a shame since that Defense could be their downfall once again, but nonetheless, they are scary as usual and will make a push. I don't like my boys matching up against yours this week, esp in Foxboro. Should be a good game all around.

Belichick will have that defense ready for the playoffs. If they continue to gel and put up points they're going to be a motherfucker in the playoffs.

Bad defenses are ALWAYS exposed in the playoffs. This isn't about Belichick. It's about guys like Rodney Harrison and Adalius Thomas being out. The Patriots defense simply isn't good. They may be able to outscore a few teams, given the way they've played the past couple of weeks. That usually always catches up with teams in the playoffs. While Miami is better than I thought they would be, they're still just a middle of the road team who isn't going to the playoffs and who shouldn't be scoring 28 points!

Trav, I had a feeling your fucking hot streak with upsets was gonna continue and I should have bet the Jets.

Great call, bro. I won a ton of fucking dough on the Pats and the Colts. The Colts getting points against the under .500 shit stains from San Diego was a farce!!! What easy money.

I've always had a knack of picking upsets..I've won a couple hand picked polls, and me picking the upsets have always single handily won me some dough!

Congrats on winning all the mula$ you could and it takes balls to bet. It's easy to speak your mind picking games, but to bet money on it takes big set of nuts, esp betting games on a team that got crushed by the team they were playing earlier in the year and a team that barely wins by large margins anymore .. so atta boy I applaud you!
We'll see if we all can continue the hot streaks next week

Looks like they broke the attendance record for this game, judging by the massive crowd in the backround

The NHL called, they want their Stanley Cup back..
eh, what the hell, Congratulations to the Stampeders!

I'll blame it on Neal and Jon!!! Everything around here is their fault anyway.
