The band was cranked up to 10 all night, both in volume and in energy. Brian Johnson's voice, which by definition takes on a rough and scratchy sound that makes AC/DC recognizable, was worn but still powerful. Some critics have questioned his singing ability after all these years, but he proved the critics wrong by delivering an impressive performance, and the screaming St. Paul crowd would agree. Angus Young is the band's central focus, a true guitar hero who is instantly recognizable with his schoolboy costume and his wild struts across the stage. He summons an amazing amount of energy each night to please the crowd with his signature style.
I know a lot of you are headed to see the band at some point on this tour, and you are in for an amazing night of ROCK! We ended up in the front row thanks to the fan club and Brian Johnson walked up and down the thrust quite a bit and made sure to shake everyone's hand. The security guard told me before the show that they were not supposed to restrict anyone from going up to the rail (even those with seats not near it), the band apparently wanted to be close to the fans.
