I like the tapered style of YES. The songs have a textural quality. Several layers of musical arrangements enveloped over each other. Very impressive on some of their work! Congrads on getting tickets. Never seen them live.

Anyway, this new (fill-in) youtube sensation singer Benoit David is the real deal. Squire and Howe and White rocked and Oliver Wakeman filled out on keys.

Wow! One word....SUBWOFFER!

Sort of set list..

Siberian Khartru
Seen all good People
Astral Traveller
Onward
Tempus Fugit
And You and I
Close to the Edge
Machine Messiah
Parallels
Surface Tension
Starship Trooper
Long Distance Runaround
Owner of a Lonely Heart
Roundabout

It was really a well done show with decent lights and sound, and some killer harmonies by David,Squire and Howe. Howe can flat rip on guitar. Squire pounds the shit out of his bass. White keeps a neat beat. Wakeman (son of Rick) is a fine looking young man and he plays some decent keys.

Overall...considering the price tag of $82 a ticket..I give Yes an A for a job well done. I'd recommend it if you're a fan.
I just went over to youtube and gave the new guy a listen. Man, he sounds really good. Still not much of a YES fan, though.
