Just shelled out for front row TSO tickets for a 3:00pm show later this month. The date is on JSS's website, but they do 2 shows per day. Hoping that he performs both shows, and that my seats aren't on one far side of the stage with amps blocking the view... LOL

Mrs. Rokken is a huge TSO fan and will FREAK when she hears I got these. We'll bring earplugs just in case our bones get rattled...

Are the earplugs for the concert, or for the screaming when she gets the tickets?

It is incredible. You are going to be knocked out by this show. TSO was awesome before and with JSS is just well... better than awesome!!

If the venues are set up similar place to place, even the seats to the sides up front are incredible. You can't lose. You will LOVE this.

LOL, you and Mrs. Ripper have a great time! Saw it over a month ago, it's an amazing show! JSS' solos are quite stunning. Come back after and give us a review.

Get a haircut before you go. The heat from the pyrotechnics will singe it. I'm jealous. TSO puts on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Can't afford to go this year.

I noticed that! We were 3rd row center, it was great to be close enough to see their faces as they're performing, but gawd the lights/pyro were real hot on the face during parts of the show. They must have been cooking up there in their tux and tails right in the middle of it all.

By far the best concert I have ever been to Rip. 3pm concert, eh? Wow, you west coast people are lucky! Let me tell ya, the concert won't be over until sometime after 6pm!

He does. There is no meet & greet after the afternoon shows though, there is not enough time between shows. They are such a nice friendly bunch of guys and gals.

I just saw TSO 3 weeks ago with JSS...and HOLY COW what a show! You will have a great time!

REALLY BUMMED about not seeing this show last week.

Thanks to everyone for the information. I paid $370 for 2 tickets including the commission and shipping charge, and they will be here by Thursday. Called the wife to tell her, and she said 1st row seats would suck because we probably couldn't see the entire stage... LOL! Sounds like that might not be the case, but she'd better have fun for the price... haha! I could have saved about $120 if I'd settled for 2nd row.

I'll let ya know how the show goes!

JSS is in the west coast touring edition. the farthest east is nashville i beluieve.
so the cincinnati version wont have jeff. that sucks for us here.

I'm so jealous. I didn't know TSO was here until the next day. But we're east coast, so JSS wasn't in it. Friends said it was a-maz-ing. Enjoy, Mr. and Mrs. Rip .

We had third row seats, and we could see all of the action just fine....bring some sunglasses, because those lights can be BLINDING at times! Have a ball....can't wait to hear your review!

Holy crap! Got mine (4th row almost centre) through the TSO Fan Club pre-sale - 57.50 ea (plus some handling charges, think it worked out to about 135.00 for 2). Enjoy the show - it's amazing! (and join the fan club for next year )

The fan club put tix on sale back in Sept. Seats were a lot cheaper then.
Not doing LR this year. Going to Memphis instead.

I had to make a choice this year.... Christmas shopping or TSO.

Unfortunately I decided to go Christmas shopping, as I've never had a job during the holidays before and I'd love to get a chance to do special things for my family and pay them back for everything they've done for me.

I offered to take them all to TSO for their collective Christmas present but they declined. Tasteless folk.

I will be going this Sunday - my third year in a row. I love it that much!!! One of the best concerts I've ever seen (besides Journey with SP, of course).

I considered Memphis... I was actually supposed to be in Memphis the day of this show, but postponed my visit a day when I got my tickets.
