Hey all, just thought I'd share a link to an interview I did earlier this week with the Chattanooga Times Free Press....It was published today and the show is tomorrow at Rhythm And Brews. I'm hoping I can shake this sinus infection by then.... :x

Pretty much business as usual, but I had a good conversation with the reporter.

Good luck with the sinus infection... you get tested to make sure it isn't strep? Letting something like that go would be costly for you as a singer. I let a case of strep go for almost a month last year from a week before Christmas until like January 14th thinking it was allergies/sinus shit. Fucked me up for like 2 months after treatment even cuz I let it sit so long.

I don't get this at all. :?
So Journey was telling you that “It sounds like things will work out with Jeff," at the very same time you were auditioning for them?

Uncork another bottle of Revelation wine and get back to us.

I didn't fact check, spell check, or have editorial approval of the interview before it was published. Obviously I was directly misquoted on a few of the things I said. I believe my quote was "it doesn't sound like things will work out with Jeff." I know I wouldn't have contradicted myself in the same sentence. That's only one of a few botched quotes.

When I read that part the first thing I thought was that was clearly a misquote. Not sure why you should be held responsible for that. Congrats on the interview.

Wasn't trying to bust your chops Jeremey. I know it was out of your hands, but that guy did a pretty shitty job! Hope your gig goes good.

Yes, as I'm sure ALL the readers of the Chattanooga Times Free Press are familiar with the intimate details of JSS's firing.

Journey’s course out of state fair and ballroom purgatory is fluid.
Even now, details remain that aren’t fully known (Fat Vegas guy, anyone?).
Dropping a bombshell like the band thinking it could actually work with Jeff would not surprise me in the slightest.

I know that....Didn't mean to come across as harsh. I guess my point is, the interview is what it is - I know the guy was probably fighting a deadline and probably threw together a few quotes for brevity's sake. What's done is done though, so in the whole scheme of things I don't think the people of Chattanooga are going to read the interview with anything more than a passing curiosity.

I think I'll be in good shape by tomorrow night. Lots of water, Mucinex, and sinus rinses should clean off the vocal cords. Thanks!
