O/T AC/ DC in Ft. Lauderdale

Postby zino » Sun Dec 21, 2008 11:54 pm

Saw AC/DC last night and what a show. It has been 8 years since the last time they were in concert and they didn't dissapoint at all Played 1:45 and seemed to play a few more songs than stated in some reviews. Mixed in 5 songs of the New Cd which were all good:

Rock N Roll Train
Hell anit a Bad Place to Be
Back In Black
Big Jack
Dirty Deeds
Thunderstruck
Black Ice
The Jack
Hells Bells
Shoot To Thrill
War Machine
Anything Goes
You Shook Me All Night
TNT
Whole Lotta Rosie
Let There Be Rock

Encore's
HighWay To Hell
For Those About To Rock

Concert was great I thought Rock n Roll train was one of the best songs ofthe night. The engery level was amazing to see a 61 year old singer not stop was awesome.!
Some interseting points I saw:
* The crowd was of VERY MIXED ages saw kids about 6 ( the one behind air deummed and sang every song) to a lady about 65 says alot for the band. The two girls next to me were about 18-20 and sang every song kindda cool to see band with this much appeal

* Phill Rudd- the drummer smoked many cigs while drumming, how does one do this !! He seems very layed back for the drummer. NOticed that AC/DC doesnt use a many drum fills as other bands. Lots of Guitar !!!!

* if they turned down the guitar amps just a bit it might make for a bit more clarity in the vocals..in Hells BElls the vocal were totoaly drowned out for the first verse.

Question How loud does one have to sing into the mic to get his voice to project through all that noise ??

Well a great Show my ears are stiil ringing !!

Oh one more point the paperless ticket sysem worked out fine, but how did people get hard tickets if Ticketmaster was uising the paperless system ????
