Here's the complete song - the one he talks about in the "Zune" commerical.

THIS is the hip-hip music I remember from back in the day.....
DANCING and HAVING FUN!

IMO, that's what Music SHOULD be getting back to...enough with the "Gangsta" junk.

THANK YOU, COMMON! \~/

Kind of reminded me of this song from back in the day. I can remember rollerskating to this song with a black "Goody" comb in the back of my jeans thinking I was the shit.

I have an enormous pink one that's big enough to comb Might Joe Young's hair.

There is ALOT of old school influences in this song... I hear Busy Bee, Sugarhill Gang, Baambaata, Mantronix, and even some Rakim.

THIS is the shit I miss.....Sorry, but I love more than MR.

Oh GOOD LORD make it stop

She did a remake in the early 2000s....much more relaxed; done to a Latin-beat...

...now THAT I liked.

BTW...Back in the Day in College, I entered a "Puttin' on the Hits" contest, singing one of their songs.....since people said I looked like the girl in lime-green on the right, & I had my hair cut EXACTLY like her.

dunno if I should be proud of that....

....DAMN they were "healthy" (read "normal") back then.....right....?

Ok...now that fucking scary, Nora. I was listening to that exact same song when I read your post!!! I have their GH. I actually sent Ann Curless a MySpace message asking her if they'd be touring in 09. I was stunned to find out they were in Chicago last year. They basically did a tour. A lot of gay festivals along the way since Gioia Bruno just came out of the closet. I think they're all hot. :) I have always preferred Jurado on vox...but they're all awesome.

PS Curless hasn't gotten back to me yet. :(
