I have no ax to grind with either, but you know, Jennifer only makes 1 type of movie and that's the feel good, boy/girl, romantic comedies. In other words, she keeps to her comfort zone (ala Friends). I would say she's already type-casted to work only in that genre, and that's no way to broaden her industry appeal or enhance her career.

While Brad does all kinds of movies, and they're already talking about awards or nominations for his work in Benjamin Buttons.

Jen gets bonus points for being in "Office Space", one of the best comedies ever, IMO.

Who really gives a shit about the movies head to head. Jen VS Brad. Pretty queer, Jennifer Aniston is only mentioned in the same breath as Brad Pitt because she fucked him, end of story. Her movies can't hold a candlelight to anything Brad Pitt did.

The two movies are so much different in capability it's sickening. Brad Pitt was involved with an incredible story, with a un-breakable plot, and pretty much carried it with no major co-stars.

Anniston had that ugly, not funny dude with the broken nose, Owen Wilson as a co-star, and the certain genre she opposes as her roles are more for what audiences are looking for as in family, etc.

There is no way, no how, that Marley and Me has a better story than Benjamin Button. Benjamin Button is genius, and is a role only a few could pull off. The Characters were believable and the acting was superb.

Pitt kicks Anniston's ASS.

..and he probably did something else with it too  lucky bastard.

She's done a ton of movies since Friends, but I think all romantic comedies. I haven't seen any of them, as I'm not that much of a fan. Nothing against her, but I prefer to see the big, blockbuster movies -- or the ones people are talking about.

You know, the skinnier they are, the longer the pipe they can handle. I have verified this through extensive testing using produce and other methods with my female subjects of Asian descent.

I haven't seen either of them, but I am not a Brad Pitt fan. To me he's way too overrated. I have no interest to go see movies by guys like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Most of their popularity seems to be with women who gush over them. I'd rather see a good comedy any day of the week.

Say what you want about Tom Cruise, he's done some great movies: Rain Man, Jerry Maquire, Born on the Fourth of July, Top Gun, etc. One with Gene Hackman - The Firm. Great movie. He's only made a few duds. My sister saw his latest movie where he's a German officer and said it was good.

Agree with you to a point, but neither one comes close to Jonny Depp for being able to play any kind of role and very well to boot. :)

You're right on that, Deb. Depp is amazing. Though, I think in his short career Heath Ledger turned in some fantastic performances. I think he could have been one of the greats had he lived and had a long career.

I agree, Jana. Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have that feel to me like say, a Sylvester Stallone. There's always some kind of knack on them, but when it comes down to it, they have all kinds of blockbuster movies, motivational movies, serious movies, and portray Hall of Fame acting abilities.

Pitt and Cruise are 2 of the best in the business, regardless if ones a fruitcake, or a ladies man.

Agreed YJ. Really I was sick of Tom Cruise with all his craziness and full-of-hisselfness. But I happened a few months ago to see Jerry Maguire and Rainman again, and it reminded me of how much talent he has. If you've never seen Born on the Fourth of July, rent it. Hard to watch b/c it's brutal about him being paralyzed and in the VA hospital the scenes were hard to take, but he did a tremendous acting job.
