Every day I wake, and see a pretty girl walking down the street or in the elevator or at the roach coach, that's good news to me that I'm alive and still enjoying the wonderful things in this world.

Amen. A pretty girl is a flock of geese moving smoothly north through the spring air- few men can witness the sight and have souls so dead that they fail to be lifted by the promise of a coming spring.

Jimi Jamison - That's Why I Sing - Maybe my favorite off of Crossroads Moment. Great melody, great harmonies, great upbeat guitar playing, the whole nine yards. Don't think it's on YT
April Wine - Enough is Enough - Love this track, these guys were masters at blending the early 80s new wave and power pop sounds together. One of my personal AW faves -

I've never been a big fan of Kid Rock's, but a friend introduced me to his latest CD, and this song in particular is stuck in my head:

How right you are. Stranger In Town is an incredible album. Hollywood Nights, Still the Same, We've Got tonight etc - American music at its best.

Great track, loved their 80s stuff just as much as their 70s stuff.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7rbHmRq-SA Always been one of my favorite bands, so many great tunes out of those guys. Saw them last year, they are still out there kicking butt, even at their age.

I think Uno Up is catching a show next month.

The people on here have such good taste in music. Thanks for reminding me of this track. I've had such a great night - found a few new bands played some stuff I haven't heard for ages, drunk loads of beer. Perfect Friday night.
