These are really great clips. Thanks for taking the time to post them. Have you played around the with Against The Wall album vocals? I would really like to hear Forever Right or Wrong (Love's Like a River), Summer of Love, and It Won't Be You.

Most Excellent....my favorite song THANK YOU!
Listening to my iTunes playlist....the FTLOSM live 94 of FH is playing right now; came on right after yours....NO change in key at all....he still sounded great!
Question:
What is causing the
"flange effect" on the backing music?

Trag,
The flange is unavoidable however I might be able to minimize it. It is just an artifact of the filters working in real time to extract the typical male voice frequencies.. I may get better at filtering it out but when I try now it only lowers the vox so....

I already asked for that, he said it was too much trouble due to the way it was mixed!!
Although,
MRS. PERRY, you may have more pull.....

Its not too much trouble it is the way TBF is mixed. I cant seem to pull him out enough for it to matter.

LD,
You've done some great work here. Thanks, we all appreciate it I am sure.
A few more suggestions might be Can't Stop, or When You're In Love For the First Time.

Same with that song.. There are too many other things in the center channel for that one to work. Neals guitar is mixed there along with perry at about equal volume so... Not really worth it trust me.. I wanted this one to work badly. Now if someone can find instrumental versions of any Journey song that is not karaoke but the real song sans vocals I can then get a perfect vocal extraction where you would ONLY hear Perry. I know it sounds werid but if you take the instrumental that is sans vocals and the real version and invert the phase of one it causes phase cancellation and you will only hear vocals.. There is an abobe audition tutorial on youtube for doing it that way. One big Problem. I dont know of any instrumental versions of any real Journey songs that exist anywhere.
