It was that pre-game lunch that caused the slow start.

To be fair to McNabb...He has at least gotten to several NFC Championship games. Everyone in the NFL sings the praises of Tony Homo and he's the biggest "Choke" artist in the league!

I thought McNabb had a pretty good game. Yeah, he did throw a few behind his receivers, but he also had about 6 of his passes dropped.

I'm serious...What's funny about it? Is there some inside joke here? Do I have to be from Philadelphia to understand? Sensitive much? Good grief.

he brought them all the way back from 24-6...took the lead...then the D let Zona go on a 7 minute drive to win the game. Yet they will pin this on McNabb...if I am him...I want out of Philly...he truly can't win...from the day he was drafted he has had no chance in Philly.

McNabb is an overvalued, fat, self obsessed, narcissistic, whining prima donna bitch! The national media who come to his defense make me sick!

He has been referred to as McNugget, a little bit in reference to his stomach ache at the close of the superbowl. Nothing cryptic. I guess you have to be from Philly to get it. :D

As an Eagles fan, it's the D that killed them. They gave up three huge touchdowns in the first half. Granted, the offense didn't get hot, Aikers had a bad game at the wrong time ... that first half was about as bad as it gets. Then McNabb somehow helps 'em get to 25-24, and those Aikers misses start looking glaringly bad, and the D couldn't hold the Cards to even a FG in that last touchdown run, nor keep the 2 point conversion.

I'm no McNabb apologist, but this loss was not completely his fault at all. It was more the D that let them down than anything else.

Those last four or so minutes were eerily familiar to the Superbowl with the Pats, but at least they managed the clock better.

While the loss wasn't on McApple(up) and/or Reid per se (this was a defensive loss, bottom line you have the leadd in the 4th q and give a drive), once again I see why I DON"T want the ball in this guy's hands trailing needing the last possession to win.

That is the worst 375 yard performance you'll see if you watch. Many McDirtballz and McBehindGuys balls.

Still he DID get them the lead in the 4th q. Defense has GOT to stop that team at that point.

Wanted Balti too but its just damn near impossible for rookie qbs to get it done.

Quinton Demps, Quinton Mickell, Asante Samuel and Sheldon Brown, INVISABLE for the Eagles.

Their biggest, most physical corner Lito Sheppard (6') sat idly by and watched FitzCaveMan hair scape his knuckles all throughout the secondary unmolested.

There were also a few balls that should have been caught, too. Bottom line, no one comes out clean in this wash. McNabb had a lot of time to throw many times.

There were also a few almost-interceptions, too. The D just didn't get it done. I'd take FitzCaveMan on my team, hair and all. They had NO answer for him except in the 3rd quarter, and the one time they needed to stop him in the 4th, they couldn't.

Even if McNabb isn't bad in Philly, someone will take him. And to be honest, if they had someone with real talent (not TO but someone with talent and not an asshole) they may have won something by now. That year TO and McNabb got to the Superbowl - loss excepted - was a good one and showed what he could do with tools. DeSean Jackson will be a good player, and Westbrook is an amazing player but has been pretty non-existent the past few games.

Very easy to play what if here. It's the Philly motif (speaking as a lifelong fan).

Take him.
Showed what he could do in the superbowl?
4 Ints.

No question Donovan choked against the Pats. They had a chance to win at the end and still blew it. I was incredulous. I live in the Boston area and watching that game with Pats fans was PAINFUL.

Hey you dumb fuck. I can see your time away has made you even more stupid, if that's at all possible.

Are you saying you loved Rush Limbaugh's take that blacks cannot be QB's because their motor skills are inherently slower than Gringos and well, "give em some chicken."

You are a riot. Go fuck yourself.

In the NFL playoffs, McNabb was a money passer in the 4th quarter with a QB approval of 158. it doesn't get much better than that.

Seemed to me like what lost them the game was their inability to stop Arizona's offense. McNabb brought them back and gave them the lead. A terrible non-call for pass interference against Curtis is certainly not his fault. I'm certianly no McNabb fan, but had he not shown leadership skills in the 3rd quarter and carried them they would have been blown out by 20+.

Phily had so serious mo going when ARZ was going three and out after blitz by blitz by blitz. Kurt must have hit the Bible hard last night because dude has a lot of poise, unlike that stupid fuck on Baltimore, who, after white dude returns punt to BAL 40, decides tho throw Steeler player, who is 20 yards away from the play into the concession stand, costing his team 27 yds. THAT changed the game. Their was a different dynamic in the game from that point onward. Baltimore was 20 yds away from a GW FG. That fucker would be selling Whirlpools at the East Baltimore Sears if I was Harbaugh.

I rooted for Mcnut in the past when they blew their chances.

But after his stupid cell phone prank last week I said screw him.

I like to watch pro sports without all the stupid dances and horseshit some of those players do.

It cheapens the game!

Kinda like all the tatoos in the NBA. Some may like em I think they make the game wreak!

Hence what I was saying earlier. Donovan was far from stellar in the first half, but without what he did, it'd be a joke of a game. The Eagles D gave out at the wrong time. I'm still not happy, but it's not Donovan's fault his defense can't keep the opponent to at least a FG.

Agreed, he's (McNabb) not a great QB but he doesn't suck either. Defense has to take the blame for their loss.

I agree 100% Dan. How anyone can put this loss on McNabb is beyond me.

Uhm, and did Philly fan forget that your beloved kicker missed a field goal and shanked an EXTRA POINT?? Wanna play the blame game, that's as good a place to start as any.

Hitting the FG and the PAT, all that would;ve done is change the approach on the last drive.
We'll never know though, b/c McNabb, who hasn't played on a team that produced a 4th q comeback win since 2004, went 1,2,3,4 and out.
Hank Basket was WIDE open with more green than Ireland in June in front of him and he Mcthrew it behind him.
