Fleetwood Mac has always been nuts with their ticket prices so this doesn't suprise me at all. They won't be getting any of my money.

Any band could blow me for those prices! I paid $450 (which is outragious... I know) for two front-row center seats for the Styx, REO, Journey concert a few years ago, and that was off of Ebay. That was for the record, the best show I've ever seen (and Journey was the weakest band of the three!).

Not so much these days.....I paid $350.00 ($700.00 for 2) front row center, Bon Jovi, Daughtry!!!
My friend, Huge JBJ fan, just had to go on stage. I won't repeat what I said, but, yeah it was fun!!!

Mac is on my list of bands I haven't seen but want to before they hang it up. Sis wants to go too ... But no 5 star that's for sure. I'll try some other routes and see what kind of seats I can get

Fuck Fleetwood Mac, and fuck the Eagles...the two bands that broke the $100 per ticket barrier for their respective 1994 tours.

I got comped to virtually every concert I attended during my 20 years as a working music journalist, and even then I thought the greed shown was absurd.

As someone who now actually PAYS for most of my concert ducats, I say fuck 'em all.

Most artists/managers/promoters are astute enough to know that concert prices in the foreseeable future will have to reasonably reflect our current economic mess.

The smart ones, that is...

;^)

I have seen Fleetwood Mac twice, in '83 and 2003, both times were excellent, but I won't pay those outrageous prices to see them again. That's exactly why I boycotted the Eagles this time around.

My advice is to check Ticketmaster daily. I was able to get 8th row tickets a week after they went on sale, so apparently some better seats got released.

I'm betting that ILAA is putting at least 100 of the best seats aside for possible ILAA packages (big bucks), and I'm also betting that the sales will be very low due to the high cost, and that a large amount of up close seats will be released as the shows get closer. Watch carefully in the weeks and days leading up to the show.

Thanks, Weatherman; that's helpful to know. Nothing in any of the front sections is available through the AMEX presale, so I figured they have those whole sections blocked. This may be a case where patience pays off. 8th row is pretty freakin good ...

No problem! I tried the Amex pre-sale as well and the best seats were only in Row 21. Hope you are able to score some awesome seats!

Linda, I saw FM a few years ago at the Woodlands. Too bad they're at Toyota Center this time because I hate that place for concerts. Way too big & you hear a bunch of echo. The sound is awful.

Hey, Ken

I was too cheap to pay for good seats when FM were at CWMP; now I regret it. I hate the freakin Toyota Center. Nickleback is doing the Toyota too this year. I'm thinking about trying for FM tics at the AA Center in Dallas, but I don't know if that's any better. Guess I'll find out tomorrow night for AC/DC.
