I have sold 100's of lp's and cd's over the years, but for some reason I have kept hold of all the singles i have ever bought. I have hundreds of them. On getting back from the pub tonight I grabbed a handful and gave them a spin. Talk about a child of the 80's - this is what i played.

Foreigner - say You Will (got the limited edition box set with the poster and tour pass!) 1985
Barclay James Harvest - Waiting for the Right time 1983
Belinda Carlisle - Leave a light On 1989
Rush - The Body Electric 1984
Vandenberg - Once in a lifetime 1985
Eric Clapton - She's Waiting 1985
Magnum - start talking Love - 1998
Magnum - Kingdom of Madness 1980
Don Henley - Boys Of Summer 1984
Cher - We All Sleep Alone 1987
Warrant - Heaven 1989
Rick Springfield - Jessies Girl 1984
UFO - When It's Time To Rock 1983
David Bowie - Fashion 1980
Terraplane - If that's What it Takes 1986

Anyone want to come over for a beer? The fridge is full.

----------------
Now playing: Terraplane - I Can't Live Without Your Love

It was a Double A side - Say You Will & A Night to Remember, with a live version of Hot Blooded on the B Side (same version as Foreigner Records). Came in a little box with a black and white band poster and a pass that has the F logo, Tour '85 underneath and underneath that Crew Staff Guest.

----------------
Now playing: Eric Johnson - S. R. V.

Loved the Building the Perfect Beast album. Played the shit out of the album and Cant stand still and end of the innocence when I broke up with my first wife. dunno why- it was just good therapy. I especially spun the Henley song "You must not be drinkin enough" (off building the perfect beast) It was my anthem for about six months.

Speaking of beer and fridges , we do need to sort a melodic rock drink a thon for those of us in the south / south west of England- theres more of us here than you think.
