Why is that wrong? Numbers are numbers. It's not their fault their albums moved in big numbers.

Without spending too much time scanning the list I would count these as great debut albums . Not necessarily in terms of sales but certainly quality

Eagles -by the Eagles
Doors - the Doors
Dont Mess Around with Jim - Jim Croce - (if that guy Only lived longer...we missed out on a lot of good music)
America- America
Shake your Money Maker Black crowes
Genesis - from genesis to revelation
Motley Crue - too fast for love
Def Lepp- on through the night
Rush - Rush

It can't be correct. They had the #1 debut album of all time at 17x Platinum at last count, and they're not in that lists top 100? Sump'n's fucked up there.

Appetite For Destrusction by G&R is certified 18X Platinum by the RIAA in the U.S. and is well over 25X Platinum worldwide. That was their debut album, wasn't it?

Hey Nigs, nice to see ya throw a thread up man.

my 2 cents:

The Cars self titled and yeah I agree with above, Boston duh.

Looking at some of the garbage they put in that list, no wonder these are missing.

Saw Alanis a little while back with 3 Doors Down ... she had found makeup, hot rollers, and tight pants ... just seemed the wrong look to go with those I-want-to-crush-your-balls lyrics

Alanis disappeared from the charts. She was alright though her shrieking irritated me. Saw some pics of her riding motorcycle. She's a healthy woman. Makeup would go good on her.

Oasis' Definitely Maybe and the Stone Roses self-titled album are missing...clearly this was written by an American, although that still doesn't account for lack of Boston.

My top 5 debuts would be Guns N' Roses, Oasis, Boston, The Stone Roses, and...maybe Jeff Buckley's Grace? Slot #5 is a tough one...hmmm....

I hate to watch her sing. Very strange looking. She opens her mouth by moving her head instead of her jaw.
