I've been sent this twice in 2 days now, so....

Word on the street is Arnel is out of Journey and the rest of the band
have decided to call it quits. Neal Schon and John Waite to reunite
with Bad English for Rocklahoma.

Cain was on the radio this morning, talking about the invite only show they're doing for the SuperBowl and, yeah, DSB will probably be the song that gets aired during the broadcast.
They didn't say if he had checked his voice mail before he came on though.

I think I figured out what happened . I think someone overheard Cain and Schon when they were recently visiting Chicago and at a very noisy sports bar. The conversation went like this:

Cain: You know what we gotta work on Arnel
Neal: Yeah the kid can sing, and I think hes got strong hips that wont break. Just one problem

Schon and Cain both took a long drink draining their Miller Lite's and nodded in unison both saying at the same time:

"BAD ENGLISH"

Schon: Yep hes got bad english, its gotten better but we gotta spend time. Arnel's gotta to work.to get the bugs- this bit inaudible as the Blackhawks scored for the first and proabbly last time in the month of January and the crowd went nut) OUT.

Passing hot waitress in hooter type outfit and roller skates only hears the words BAD ENGLISH , ARNEL OUT.

Only this time the end result is a millon emails and calls made in the direction of Hobart Tasmania to a unsuspecting WOMBAT who gets woken up a four in the am all because NEAL and CAIN paid a visit to some sports bar and CAIN had to pee... GO FIGURE

I hate to say it, but I think I'd rather hear a new Bad English album than a Journey one. To me, Journey would just be rehashing ideas and trying to recreate something, but Bad English would be creating new honest-to-goodness Bad English badassness ( I know it's not a word, but I like it so shut your pie hole! ). Could be very cool, and Waite still has a great voice...

Or at least end it 'til Perry gets a new album out, does a few solo dates, then wants to do Journey again.
And I do like the idea of new Bad English.
