I'm not sure if this deserves its own topic, but.....

IMHO, a singular band name...i.e. Journey, is refered to always in the singular...even though the band consists of more than one member.

For example: Journey belongs in the HOF. It just sounds weird, to me, to say it otherwise.

For example: Journey belong in the HOF. This sounds wrong to me..... :?

Just saying......

Then say it this way instead... Steve Perry and Journey belong in the hall of fame, :D and your singular problem is solved.

And curse you for starting a grammar topic. Now I'm not going to be able to pay attention to anything else.
