The John Parr band who supported Journey last year on the UK leg of the world tour is playing here in the UK @ The Birdwell Club South Yorkshire on Saturday 21st of Febuary doors open @ 7pm - Band - 9pm and tickets are priced @£6.00 :D :D :D :D

Damn we are working that night.

We played that venue a few years ago - supported Mercury, the Queen Tribute Band. Ever seen them barnsley4? You are obviously a local lad. 8)

Sorry Susie i made a mistake in not replying with an answer and no i'm not stevew2 also i did see you supporting Mercury @ Birdwell a few years ago and yes i am a local Lad i live 50 yards away from the club and i am trying to promote the club and looking for bigger Aor/Rock bands from around the world that will be touring the UK.

Good luck with that. It's a great venue.
Mercury seem to be playing Butlins most of the time these days and I know they are pretty expensive.
We're not a rock act, as you know if you have seen us. We just did a 45 minute 80's show and tried our best to suit your audience at the Birdwell.
And now Clubs are closing and cutting down a bit on Acts we are moving more towards the easy listening/jazz stuff for corporate functions these days.

We really enjoyed playing at your venue, though. We salute it every time we drive past to other venues.
And obviously we can't buy tickets to anything on a Saturday because we work every week, but if there is anything happening midweek, we will come along if we can.

Good luck with getting bands on there.
