"Suzanne" seems like a pop version of "Stone in Love". Another reason for me to hate ROR.

Jeremey's arrangement of this song is indeed awesome. Jer, you better be playing it Saturday in Cleveland.
I'm a big fan of this song, one of the best off RoR. I love Neal's tasteful playing throughout.

never was a fan of Suzanne. very UNJourney track to me. The keyboard bass just sounds so dated. Eyes of a Woman, though slow stomps it.

I like the synth bass on this track. Gives it a nice feel. It's a song recorded in the heart of the 80s, I'd expect nothing less
I don't like Eyes of a Woman. Meandering, not much of a hook, and no big guitar playing.

I love Jeremey's version as well, it does a great job of showcasing his voice.

Oh man, Smith's playing is worth the price of admission on Eyes. My favorite ROR track has always been ROR. I love the feel of it and the 5 string bass gives it that really low WHOMP that's just cool. I can't get enough of that track. It's also got a great guitar sound from Neal. His guitar (rhythm guitar) always sounds like it's got too much crap on it. That was the first one from him where I went "THAT sounds like a well recorded guitar track".
Suzanne though... I hear it and all I can think of is that "80s white guy dance" (See Bruce on Born in the USA video). Ick. That one and Positive Touch blow.

Haha, I like PT too. I do agree the title track is a rockin song.

I have such an attachment to that song... that song is a childhood memory for me. I was 9 years old when I heard it first, and I would swipe my sister's ROR
cassette
and play it over and over and over and over. (I had to... arseholes didn't include the lyrics!

I remember trying to write them down so I could learn it!)

I love Eyes of a Woman. Steve Perry at his best as far as emotion in a song. Never liked Suzanne. But Jeremey's version on that clip sounded great live, very enjoyable.

Can someone (Jeremey, Arnel, Augeri, anybody) do an updated version of "Lay it down"?
I consider this song to be one of Journey's BEST Attempts at Hard Rock.

BARRY + JEREMEY was just magical!!
this is just incredible sounding.. the monitor mix is just insane perfect. that video camera has
some kinda fantastic mic as well..
there are bands getting paid millions that dont even come close to sounding as good
as Frontiers here... all live...
great vocals.. but whats up with the cut before the solo... ?
C'mon Man!

Listening to Send Her My Love. Jeremy is great, and it makes me miss Steve even more.

Noel, the guy who originally posted Arnel's cover videos got his account deleted by Youtube. The record companys for Cheaptrick and Aerosmith were complaining about the ZOO band videos, from what it looks like. Are cover band videos the next target for record companies? Arnel's story probably is what got him the unwarranted attention I'm assuming.

This is a STILL one of my faves to watch... the ease with which Perry sang is still amazing...

Neil made the wrong choice.
Jeremey should be the singer.

I know how to spell it. I was trying to make a joke that obviously didn't work.
I should have spelled it "kneel", as in kneel down and take it like the fool you are, while all your ex-wives give it to you!
Sorry, I couldn't resist either!
Jeremey should still be the singer. JC new best.

I loved all the references to the 50s songs. I thought it was way cool.
"9 years old"... you suck!
I was 23. Holy Crap, I'm old...
