A lot of Germans I met did not want to beleive it happened. I guess it is kind of a black eye to them. And the propaganda of their government had a lot to do with it. Um, gee, I don't know - maybe the tons of film footage and photographs from the whole thing. Maybe the numbers on people's arms. Maybe the tons of books written by people who had first hand accounts.

As far as I go...................as I said, I seen enough.........the smells at the camps are horrible.......photo documentation, scars on people, even some of the German people were so happy we stopped it they would stop me in the street to thank me, and I never lived durring that time! They would tell me how awful it was........how could anyone deny it? There is so much proof, and yes proof I have seen..........

They'll tell you that the WWII liberators were given a story and threatened with death to stick to it. They'll tell you that it's a vast racial sympathy conspiracy. They'll tell you a lot of things. And really think about it - all most of us know is what we've been told, no? Unless we were there, we really don't know.

Now then, what I believe is nobody's business. But I will say I've been around the world a few times and I've seen many things. I also think that most Holocaust deniers are whackjobs, however, some of them do make good arguments. And, I've read, some of them are even Jewish. Do some research.

Btw, did you know that there are Pearl Harbor deniers too? Just like the 9/11 theorists, they believe that it was all staged or allowed simply to make war. Conspiracy theorists and non-believers are everywhere...and they're not all stupid either.

Regarding the 911 thing, I've actually heard stuff in the past that made me go "hmm", but nobody's saying it didn't happen, just 'why?' and 'how?'.

But there are millions of photos out there of the concentration camps, the bodies, etc. That's in the days before photoshop, etc. so I'm not sure how that evidence can be challenged.

Arkansas i believe that sadly there are many who always try to believe what they feel good for them, and close their eyes..but there is facts..like almost 6 millions of jews dead, and other people from Europe, pictures, numerous holocaust survivors testimonies, the Nuremberg trials..and i could go on...
but i understand that this negation happen..there is a lot of people in my country after 73' military coup that still deny that people (who think diferent at the time from the Goverment, dictator Pinochet) were kill..after 36 years, believe that they only are dissapear and was not an slaughter..common!
Now the good news is there is a lot of people in the world that don't want any of this, repeat again and know that is just a disgrace for human race.

In all seriousness, as someone who is Jewish and has experienced anti-Semitism, I know what's out there. It's highly offensive that people think it didn't happen, but as the survivors die it gets easier to say, "So did it really happen?".

There are plenty ofphotos, detailed unclassified documents, the Nazis OWN documentation (just read IBM and the Holocaust by Edwin Black and how the Hollerith machines made it all possible), etc. But you're not going to convince someone that it happened if they truly don't believe it. But I say to them: go visit Auschwitz. See the exhibits.

I've personally noticed an uptick in anti-Jewish sentiment the past few years (not unlike past times when there were bad economic times), but I tend to be more sensitive to that kind of thing. There's a lot of latent anti-Semitism out there.

I went to Germany, seen the places where things happened, talked to people who lived then on the German side........is that good? How much research do you need? Do we have to doubt the Civil War?
