Is it Christian Music?
If so, not interested. I did like "Drastic Measures" though.

Don't know if it's still Christian Music. Check the snippets out. I'm not a native english speaker so I don't pay attention to the lyrics unless I get myself concentrated into them. Anyway, the music is AMAZING; the very last song of the snippet (from minute 13:04 onwards) is the best thing I've heard this year so far.
BTW, brywool... according to your avatar YOU SHOULD BE interested in christian music...

Speaking of Kansas, they did a cool thing in their hometown of Topeka this weekend. They recorded a live DVD, in a small (1500 est. seat) concert hall on the Washburn University campus with an orchestra. They sold a limited number of tickets that featured premium seats, entrance to a dress rehearsal on the day before the and a 2 hour meet and greet/autograph photo session. These ticket holders also received autographed photo, T Shirt (good one...not ILAA cheapo version) and an autographed free copy of the DVD when it was released. Kind of a ILAA experience on steroids...all for $200 each.
Kerry Livgren and Steven Morse both made appearances. I had the tickets but offered them to an auction benefiting the Foundation I administer . I tried to buy them back, but a good friend was bidding on them so I let him have them. He said it was a great experience.
Journey should do this, albeit without the orchestra. Bring back the alums for a reunion show, record it, offer amenities to the diehard fans, and either ride the wave of new enthusiasm for the band...or ride into the sunset.

Nothing says "rock n' roll" more than having all the rich people right up front.

Listening right now....thanx for the heads-up!
I like the song where he sings,
"I'm lyin'" - I like how that phrase comes out of complete silence....
Very nice harmonies & chord progression choices on his songs....
Mark's gonna be psyched!

Wow. Picking up a 'Boston' vibe here and there.
Maybe a little 'Two Fires' too.
I'll probably buy this. Good stuff. Always liked this guy.
