New Journey website (again)?

The homepage of journeymusic.com says a new website is under development and will open soon. And the official forums are closed. I thought they just opened a new website last year?

The last time they closed the forums a lead singer change was made. Is something similar on the horizon? :wink:

I never did like the foreign-looking type font. I hope they get rid of it.

Come to think of it - Journey usually only changes their website when they get a new singer.

Could it be that Neal found someone new on YouTube again?

Yep, that's what I said. Why else would they close the forums? :lol: I wondered if something was up when they still haven't announced the Japan dates officially when they're less than a month away and tickets are on sale.

i hope you are right about the font---I can't read it so I gave up after a while. and the light letters on dark background--it was too much work to read.

I think their just renaming everything to make it reflect the local sentiment over there.

Whereas Arnel's own website has infinitely more traffic but primarily the same content as above posted ad nauseam! :lol:

Love the guy as a singer but the fanbase is a little too intense for me. As long as the band is doing well I am happy but I am starting to feel a little bit out of my comfort zone as a fan. The sheen has definitely rubbed off some.

The others are either run by fans, old record labels like Sony (who they are no longer with) ect. This page was requested to be set up by band member Neal Schon for Journey. This page will continue to be improved upon as we are in the midst of building a new Official web site for Journey. We will have the two tied together once the website is completed. Journey is professionally represented and managed by Azoff Music Management in Los Angeles, CA.

That MySpace page is totally 'amateur hour' at the moment not too mention full of inaccuracies (site name for instance) and garbage like - 'Arnel Pidena Journey Singer Beautiful Soul at Target Center Msp 08' WTF does any of that mean? Doesn't bode well for the official page.
