Postby Behshad » Wed Feb 18, 2009 2:20 am

OK fuckers, y'all had your fun laughin at the Prog-Mans "singing" session, which by the way thanks Prog,,, my boss must've thought either Im going crazy or I just love my job that much ....

Now , I know there are many of you chicken-shits out there, who do play either Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Sing Star, American Idol ,,, or any other kind of music/karaoke game,,,,,,(myself included)....

Lets see how many others can be brave&gutsy (and stupid) enough to SHARE with the rest of us. Thats right,,, when you think you own that fuckin stage in the height of your drunkness, record the damn thing and put it up here for the rest of us to judge/laugh at .
If you dont have anything recorded yet , then get it done when your drunk ass decides to pick up the mic this weekend and pretend to be the singer of the century

Who's 1st !? :) Anyone?? Bueller!???

Well, if I end up at karaoke night tonight, maybe I can find a video camera. I don't have a problem making a fool of myself in public/in front of my friends, just kinda hard to find a camera !

Excellent thread idea, B! :D I hope you get participants.

I won't be one of them. I'm SO unbelievably bad that I make Prog sound like Steve Perry in 1979.

Great thread idea, reminds me of the Journey karaoke thread from a couple of years back.

Is this thread exclusively video or is just audio okay...?

No worries,,,
It is after your participation in this thread that you will realize how your sacks will expand to the point where you can fit couple of baby Kangaroos in them.
Just look at Prog. You think he just grew his huge sacks over nite? well maybe he did, you'd have to ask him about that . :?

Also keep in mind, a lot of nutsacks has been known to grow larger when alcohol is involved.

That is a really fun idea. The karaoke track is freely available. You should totally do that! Listing the original singers and their MR counterparts could be fun...

Ok, Im your huckleberry. Here is my entire collection of karaokoe tracks I have sang on and posted in the past.. These were not done at a bar because recording like that would be too much trouble so it was a controlled studio session however there is NO TWEAKING and as a result a couple of them are really good and a couple are ok. None are bad or I wouldnt have posted them hehe..

Best to worst IMHO. Link at the bottom.

Whos Crying now.
After The Fall
I;ll Be alright without you
If he should break your heart (messed up the lyrics and was scratchy but added a high early perry note ala Wheel in the sky solo section at the very end because I felt like it)
Lights (voice and pitch wasnt 100%)
Feelin that way (voice wasnt 100%)

One Queensryche tune from Operation Mindcrime, I dont believe in love (think I nailed that one).

Im all in..

Hehe,

I am thinking of doing some more or re-cutting because I think my voice has improved big time in regards to my upper range. After getting a chest cold that lasted 4 months it took my almost a year to be able to sing tenor again. Now I can sing a lot of that stuff with WAY less effort that it used to take.. Baby steps..

Go for it man. I believe ya on the cold thing, I had a nasty year of sinus infections/strep/cold/tonsilitis from like June 07-July last year. Musta been sick enough for meds 6 different times. I'm by no means a good singer, but I still noticed I was having major problems singing the stuff I was OK at before if it was towards the top end of my range, especially on some harmonies with my band. Only since I've been cutting vocals on demos I write for my singer to learn and therefore practicing vocals a little more have I finally noticed some improvement... I guess that's what practice will do for ya.
