The 30th (or whatever number collection this is, hell I've lost track of how many they've released) volume of the 'Now that's what I call music' compilations is a power ballads set.
Before even seeing the tracklist I knew Journey were included....

Now That's What I Call Power Ballads

1. Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Poison
2. Faithfully - Journey
3. I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing - Aerosmith
4. Love Bites - Def Leppard
5. Is This Love - Whitesnake
6. Never - Heart
7. The Flame - Cheap Trick
8. When I See You Smile - Bad English
9. Sister Christian - Night Ranger
10. The Search Is Over - Survivor
11. When I'm With You - Sheriff
12. Still Loving You - Scorpions
13. Fly To The Angels - Slaughter
14. More Than Words - Extreme
15. Amanda - Boston
16. Love Song - Tesla
17. Heaven - Warrant
18. Silent Lucidity - Queensryche

"Power" ballad? I bet you the people who put this list together were the same ones who put singers like Madonna in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...

This list doesn't make any sense.
"Never" as a power ballad?
No "Keep on loving you"?

Some good tunes there...i don't like poison actually, but i prefer in the list the song from them i won't forget you than every rose...
and Heart...never saw that song like a great power ballad, fit better for me in the list alone or what about love
and no foreigner in the list?..i love to add the kingdom come song what love can be...very underrated :?

Thank goodness for satellite radio. XM has a channel called "Hair Nation" that caters to - yup you guessed it, 80's hair band rev music. Rat, Faster Pussycat, White Lion etc.
