Live from Daryl's house

Any one checked this out? A lot of cool guests jamming out with Daryl. It would be neat to see more musicians do this.

I love "Cruel to be kind" with Nick Lowe. I posted this somewhere else but here it is again.

Wow what a great concept! I'd kill to see Perry doing something like this... Just hanging out, jamming with friends... He'd never have to leave his house! :o :o :o :o Well a loon can dream...

LOVED IT!!!

::Loon Alert::

This is someone I have long thought that SMFP SHOULD be writting with. Now, if somebody could find a way to lock these two in a room together and not let them out until they have not one, but two CD's worth of material I would be a very happy loon. 8)

I was diggin "Cab Driver" and "I'm in a Philly Mood". I could totally see SMFP doing that kind of groove.

Man, this is awesome! Check out this new version of "Maneater". Very awesome. This is my element with their style of recording/jamming! I love sitting in a room of musicians like this and just going with the flow. Wish I could sit in on some of that action. :wink:

Here's (I think anyway) the link to "Maneater". Check it out...

The episodes with Company of thieves, Nick Lowe and Chromeo are my favorite so far.

Nifty! I had visited Daryl's site about a year ago, but I don't remember seeing these. I really like "Don't let me be misunderstood" from Episode 4. And, "Time of the Season" Episode 15...Great stuff! :)

I have been a member for a while - bob lefsetz turned me on to it early last year.

everyone is right - it is way beyond cool.

The one thing that keeps sticking in my brain is that this is such a treat for fans ...... and all the musicians just love it.

Thank you Darryl.

I'm watching Daryl Hall and John Oates Live At The Troubador 2008 ... great show. All acoustic guitars, but lots of backing guys on sax/keys/vocals/drums/percussion. Putting me in the mood to go watch all the Live at Daryl's House episodes again.
